and by the way poeple are posting you would swear the grand prix won or something.....in every race it had multiple car lengths put on it...but it did do good for a big heavy front wheel drive car...

and last i checked a c6 dosnt "rip the the gt500 a new whole" but the c6 z06 dose

I am mainly speaking in terms of money. If I priced out every bolt'on mod you had it would probably be in the neighborhood of $1,200.....? close?
and you still didn't have 320hp, although close.

Why are all you guys comparing hp? It doesn't matter what it takes to get a gt to 320rwhp because it would still be in the low 13s to high 12s. The GP runs 12.4s and the car he ran looked to be a good 1-2 tenths faster. People on the internet are way to concerned with hp numbers when really all that matters when your racing is et.

Anyway, nice video and death. That little grand prix put up quite a fight, cool car to have if you like to race for money.

I think the main point (and I agree with you BTW)...is with the GT500 being a low 12 second car stock with 440 RWHP @ 4200lbs....no one is looking at the possibility that this car could be a modded GT with a body kit. I think we ALL can agree that this car doesn't necessarily run 12.4 on the street...so it is very possible the stang ran was a GT with a kit and mods...gears and bolt on's, and driver pending, could easily make this race happen. But NO ONE seems to be open to that possibility..just agreeing it a fat heavy GT500.

I agree, but a 320rwhp GT would be a solid 12s car (if you can drive)

well the fact is. the GP owner said it was a GT 500. and the chances of a fairly modded GP GT and a GT 500 running in a race probly doesnt happen to often.

on a track that GP 9-10 times would probly win. vs a GT 500. they seem to be more 12.5 to 12.7 range. and the GP being the auto as long as it gets grip off the line nothign else to worry about.

GP HAVE some of the Worst Top end. they can rip alot of cars in the 1/4. but form a roll will lose. they hit their powerband really quick but lose it quick also.
