got beat :(
my car: I/H/E and a cam, and a 2 year oild tune from speed inc
375whpwell last night my buddy brought out his evo, stock turbo car but mid 12's all day if he can drive it, and he can. the car 60fts a 1.6 like nothing. he was all pumped up to race me because im on a street tire with 10% tread and blah blah blah. either way i agreed because i wanted to see how bad id lose. first race i just spun to 6k in first and i got out of it because he was too far ahead. the second race i spun like a bitch the same way but i stayed in it just to see what happened, when i grabbed second i pulled up on him by a couple cars and stayed about 2 caras behind him all the way through the beginning of 4th gear, but i let off around 100~ or so. i was salty obviously so i had him run me from a 15 roll, just to see what would happen if i COULD hook up, from a 15 i pulled him through first, into second and into third. he ended up about ~2 cars behind me by the top of third when i let off, i saw a car turn down the road behind us and i got spooked.
Good kill on the roll though.

Most cams you should make 375-410 is what I hear. Of course with an intake and exhaust.
to clarify im on an ls6 intake manifold, a TR 224 112lsa cam, STOCK HEADS, lid an exhuast, also a 2 year old tune from speed inc. the car made 375whp 2 eyars ago, i think itll put out around 400 next tune.
On street tires, it takes me 2 gears to pull away from sti's, evo's and 3000gt's from a dig.
