we dont like ****** like you that come on here and try and get **** started, yes i drive a mustang to and yes i have my share of camaro,T/A,mustang, and all kind of car kills,but i dont go telling bullshit like you do im sure you can hang with him maybe because you got gears and maybe can drive but i doubt with just gears you out run him, or maybe you did, he just probably cant drive worth ****, and another thing take that big *** picture off or make it smaller it looks

Re: LS WHAT? So, by what margin do you beat this A4 Z28? If you holeshot him, I imagine he would be catching up by the time you shut them down. Still, at worst, I can see that Z28 running a high 13..and that would be pretty bad. That's no 14 second LS1 (like most GTs), so you must really be able to drive.
Re: LS WHAT? Just MY own experience...One of my best friend's has an '01 GT, 5 speed, Mineral Grey. When we were both BONE stock, I walked his *** in my LS1 T/A EVERY time, over and over.
Now, I spanked a 99 Cobra street racing in my IROC. After the race, he said he was BONE stock and ran 13.4 at Milan, but that's a Cobra, not a GT.

Re: LS WHAT? MAN YOU NEED REHAB.the only factory stang worth credit is the 03 cobra,so you wont get any from me or most of the guys here.the zo6 dont come close to my car so your mac 1 or even the 03cobra sure wont.get into a rehab program,get well soon,goodluck.

...some ford i will admit are lemons but others are factory freaks just like your camaros so dont doubt it til you see it
A couple of months ago, before headers, cam and heads I raced 2 different GT's with blowers. An '01 with a vortech, and a '99 with a Powerdyne. The '01 ran a best of 13.0@110 and the '99 ran a best of 13.2@107. The best that I could muster was a 13.4@107 on that day, but I beat both of these guys on different runs, which happened to not be their fastest. I talked to both guys in the pits and they had all of the bolt ons, and I was a little disappointed. I thought that they would be faster.
I will say, there are some damn fast '03 Cobras out there and will say that they are more notorious for being "FACTORY FREAKS".

Ihave a friend with a 99 Gt,he was 3.76 gears in the rear, a 8psi vortech blower, longtube headers, borla exhaust, highflow cats, x-pipe, king cobra clutch, bbk throttle body, and a few other mods I cant think of and he can't even get into the 12s. Mind you he has had the car since 99 and knows how to drive it

Re: LS WHAT? a couple of years a ago i raced a 00gt in my 98 6-speed bonestock with a slipping clutch. he got the jump on me,i still pulled him and got about 2-3 car lenths.a friend of mine has a stock 96 gt,i can stay side by side with him in my lude. the 99 up gts are a improvment over the prev.but still need to improve a lot. love the 03 cobras ,lightnings and even some of the old 5.0s.somehow those gts sell like hotcakes so i guess ford doesnt care.

Re: LS WHAT? i think your friend threw Z28 badges on a V6 or something. I saw one with a filter go 13.09@109 at the track. I'm a ford guy too, but a mustang GT will not pull a LS1 unless the mustang is spraying at least a 100shot.

Re: LS WHAT? This guy is obviously an idiot. A mach one even touching 12's stock isn't happening. The last one I saw at the track had 4.10's (I believe) and all out slicks with skinnies up front. His best run ever was a 13.4 @ 102mph. Just for the record you little doofus, an LS1 is a 346ci motor...not a 350. You should read a book before speaking next time. What do GT's put to the rear wheels anyway, 220hp? I'll race your punk *** in my Explorer.

Re: LS WHAT? i just wanted to chime in here and pull out the flag too. i raced a newer GT also. he is the guy that is part owner of the Horse Power store in Allen, TX. he has all the bolt ons and a 100 shot. he said he was only running about 800 psi in his bottle, but still, i am pretty much stock. and he only beat me by maybe 1/2 to 1 car length. so to you i say
