I've seen my fair share of BLOWN 99-up Musturds that run high 12's low 13's on e.t. streets. I would hate to spend 5 grand on a nice blower setup and tires and be in the 13's. But, that's why I got rid of my Rustang.

you guys are ****** wack!! all i said was comparing a stock ls1 auto to my stang and everyone and there moms modded ws6 and ss wanst to run ....you wanna run your camaro ill bring a bad *** stang guys if you wanna talk mods ? mines stock i know i cant hang with modded ss's maybe stock ill hang but you guys take this **** way out of proportion ....but i dont blame you ..you do drive a car that you cant see out the back and your g/f is mad cause she has to rest her feet on a damn bump every day

Re: LS WHAT? When my car was 100 perecent stock, one day I was movin' quickly up a long, 1/4 mile I-95 onramp. I'd say 85% throttle, rowing through 1st,2nd, and in 3rd, I looked in the mirror and saw a newer Stang keepin' up. I eased in max throttle, but by then the ramp forked quickly and we had to let off. We cruised in traffic until the end of I-95 where it merges into US1. At the next light, I powered down the window, motioned to the guy to do the same, and asked "Nice Stang,what ya got?" He said "4.6L" I say, "No sh*t, besides that..." he replies "Exhaust." I then proceeded to ask him, "were ya runnin' all out?" he said "yeah! and you?" I then shook my head with a grin, said "Nope!" he countered with a sigh, "didn't think you were either," he threw some revs (why at this point, I don't know). I powered up the window, returned a Rev though the quiet stock exhuast I had at the time, and went on my way in the thick traffic. I was grinnin' the rest of the day. So, the moral to the story is STOCK vs. STOCK, NOT A CHANCE IN HELL!!!
ps. w/ my new exhuast setup, thowing a rev would induce fear, the Spintech is MEAN! Still giddy about it.

Re: LS WHAT? Mustangs...Give me a break...A few years ago my girlfriend wanted to look at a new 2000 GT 5-speed. After she got done driving it I drove it next. The car was junk. The interior is cheap plastic and I whacked the gas in 1st gear and the tires barely spun. And it was SUPPOSED to have 260 HP??? Yeah right!!! When my '99 SS M6 was new, that car would smoke the tires in 1st and 2nd. My 2002 WS6 A4 smoked the tires in first when that was bone stock. I've seen V6 camaro's with 5-speeds give a GT a run for it's money

you guys dont mention you have a 69 ci advantage ..and a hp and tourque advantage ..so what do you expect? No one told you to buy a Mustang. Thats your fault that you did. Don't compalin about the lack of c.i.'s, HP, and torque.

my a4 went 13.7@104 all stock after i had the car for less than a week
ill take you up on that guarantee. the day you build an n/a 4.6 2v that will outrun the colonel's old setup or even the fastest heads and cam cars we'll be waiting. a CI advantage? are you sure you shouldnt be driving a honda?
after all youve got "high tech" OHC arent you supposed to be faster than our dinosaur pushrod motors ?

From 0 to 60 the mustang had us by a half a car, but by then the s2k started to real him in top end. We finally had him by 2 cars or so. To make things worse, he ran a 14.4 at 100.
