So I was on my way home today, getting off the freeway and on to the expressway. When suddenly a white 80's mustang 5.0 flys by me, at first i ignored it......then came up to a light next to a hot chic in a lexus which was giving my car a good look and a smile

Light turns green and this ******* cuts her off just to get right next to me....we were at about 40ish, i tihnk i was in 4th gear we both gun it and i dont even down shift or anything.

As I was passing him i waved goodbye and i started putting about 5 cars and pulling all the way til 110mph before i shut down due to traffic and not before getting a flyby from the guy.

His car sounded kinda loud and he had a black pin on hood but he wasn't much of a challenge but the worst part is I didnt see where that hot chic in the lexus left and i lost her

 

hmm never got a flyby from a fox, usually I get them from the early 2000's stangs

 

Whenever I see a gen that was, like 83-93 or whatever. I always think "garbage".

 

If i woulda downshifted it would have been a slaugther!!!!

 

dont get to ahead of yourself, Fox bodies have huge potential in the right hands.

 

Other than drag racing they are crap. I'd be surprised if you could daily drive one without it falling apart.

You guys dont give those fox's enough credit at all...... But you will once you meet one that looks like a ragged piece of **** old 5.0 and blows your doors off..... I have friends that drive them everyday all year long through pa winters and have next to no problems .....

 

 

this one did look like a ragged POS .......i never stated 5.0's were slow or had no potential but this particular one was both slow and an *******

 

Im suprised it was fast enough to give you a flyby

Some of those are like playing Russion Roulette..either they are crap, or tweaked.
There is one here with a 351W in it and he is supercharged, I want to get a piece of him with my 402 Stroker..

my friend has a foxbody mustang. ran 12.3 with traction problems. its a sick car.

they are just like the turd gen.. i mean third gen fbodies. so many rusted out ones, its rare to see a nice one
