Lexus IS300(turbo)
I was out riding around tonight.Had the Predator hooked up checking for KR.Well this silver Lexus IS300 pulls up next to me,than proceeds to pass me pretty fast like he might want to run.A little bit down the road he starts to turn off,as I pass I through a rev at him.I check the mirror and see that he pulled back on the street and was aproaching fast.I hold steady at around 50mph as he gets next to me.We both hit it....I pull right from the start and put a few lengths on him,as I go into third I see that hes starting to make ground, but we had to shut down....coming up on traffic. We keep close to each other as we come up to a light,it turned red and we both ended up side by side.Light turns,we roll out about 10mph and hit it...Damn truck left better than it ever has and at about 20 or so started breaking the tires loose.I had him by probably 4 lengths from 1st-3rd where he started making ground again,I shut down at about 100 and still had him by 2-3.I couldnt believe how strong that car was so I waved him to pull over.We stopped and talked for a bit,he was real cool and real impressed that the truck could take him.Come to find out he's running a turbo, intercooled with about 8 pounds boost and has some exhaust done.He asked if I would run him on the hwy,I passed on the offer...I had 2 wins over him...I didnt want a loss.

Re: Lexus IS300(turbo)
Was his car an automatic? If so then I can see the kill then. He must have been boosting only 7 psi then. There's a guy in Florida with one, and ran a 13.7 with 7 psi of boost.
I've never been to the track with my truck,so i dont know what it runs.I felt pretty good about the kill though, considering the weight difference.I'm sure if he had a converter it would have been different or at least alot closer.
