Early on in the day I was with my friend in my 4 banger stang.....we were meeting up with my buddy who has an '02 WS6 with longtube headers,offroad x and tru duals......and a 150 shot and 4.10s.....to go to a cookout....

On the way to the link up spot I was bombing down the interstat and I started to hear some tapping...


We went to the cookout and then tried to figure out the tapping. We were almost certain it was something in the head as all the noise was up top.

We decided to go to the local car hangout(it was saturday night now) to go terrorize people with my mustang......

on the interstate we did some 40 or 50 mph to 130-140mph pulls....I would only lose about 1/4 of a car between gears (stupid 20 yr old tranny) before he would leave more for dead at 120mph(stupid aerodynamically efficiently fbodies..haha)

So we get of the interstate and on to a 4 lane highway about 5 miles from the hangout. I spyed a LS1 Camaro SS...by this time Andrew had turned his bottle off.....some how me and this camaro get lined up at light


The light goes green. The turbo spooled and I was off.....to well over 5-6 buses by the middle of 4th.......which is about the time I lost the number 3 rodcap(which makes no sense....crower rod with arp bolts....1500rpm under the rev limit of the rods) and I shut it down......Fun night that ended with a busted motor.....
Andrew later told me he barely pulled that car since his bottle was off in the WS6...

The other race story I hav eis with the same WS6 and my Stang....this happened a few weeks prior...

Basically we just got back from laughing at the gay mustang meet in Hinesville(Yes..a mustang guy was at a mustang meet with an LS1 guy...laughing at mustangs...)
We were cruising next to eachother in traffic when traffic more or less disappeared....it was like the red sea parted it was so dramatic. ..so we went from a 20-120 roll......he beat me pretty bad once I MISSED 4th....(again stupid 20 yr old T5 ....needs some synchros....) Up until that point I was on his bumper (in the adjacent lane, of course)

Those are my favorite kills from last summer..even if i was killed a few times....racing friends is the most fun...

 

You aren't from NEPA are ya? I know of a guy with a 2.3L that was fabbing up piping to put an old turbo from a cummings diesel. The damn thing was on of the biggest turbos I have seen with my down eyes. Made my friends 35R look small.

Anywho, nice kill/lose. It's too bad about the motor.

 

Losing motors once in awhile is par tof the game....if you are afraid of breaking ****..maybe car shows are more your thing I dont even know what NEPA is....lol

I'm in the Savanah/Fort Stewart Georgia area...I built the car in Toledo,Ohio..though it never claimed any victims there ...Yeah I have an HY35 I that I got new in box for 400 bux..its a stock replacment for a manual transmission 2005 cummins powered dodge 3500 ram...

I **** people off around here all the time at car meets or even at their own house/garage when I make fun of the size of their t3/t4 hybrids.....They get all "WTF!?!?!?!!?! It good for 400+hp..how is it small????" haha

Than I just explain/show them my turbo....

 

I also had a couple good kills on some 100 shot A4 ls1s....
And a decently cammed LS1....esp on the decently cammed ls1....lol

 

Friends racing friens is always fun, I always race my friend's LT1 Z28....he hates me for it...

 

So an LT1 and an LS1 were racing..
The LS1 was towing a house trailer...
The LT1 lost...haha

Seriosuly though We have a friend who is so commited to the LT1 he built a 396 outta one and still fixes it everytime it breaks(which with him, is everytime...he drives it..) haha.....he hates that My buddies 150 shot WS6 runs with him and almsot never breaks....

Until recently that is...make sure your fuel injectors are working properly if you like pistons and you are spraying...lol Needless to say we are pulling the motor out of the WS6 this weekend probably...

 

Nice kills/death. Most the guys I hang out with are LT1/LS1 fans as well.

 

Wow, is your stang an authentic SVO or a clone or just a fox with the svo mill in it? Nice to see 2.3 turbos still tearing it up. Good kills!

It kinda sucks.....its legend is bigger than its bite around here...or atleast was last summer....and even this winter....

So races were hard to come by..atleast ones that were fun because you could bruise some egos....

Part of the problem is my buddy with the WS6 is REALLY respected around here in the car scene....and he defends my car when someone talks ****..even if I'm not around..or atleast gives a wicked grin after smiling and nodding.....so that worries people...ALOT...haha

 

One more thing...if this 4 banger blows it bottom end out one more time.....its LS1 swap time....

Its a lawyers office or something like that where the O.C. Welch Collection used to be. The owners gave the car guys written permission to hang out in their parking lot on saturday nights as long as it doesnt get too rowdy.

 

Oh...yeah I remember..I went there once...for some rason I thought it was the name of a track i didnt know about or something(Gimme a break..I'm a Mustang owner) I'd bring the car up..but its layted up with no brakes, popped headgasket..and a few other illnesses.... I still might roll up there with my buddies borrowed riceroni..err eclipse..Its not much fun but its transportation until my wife comes back to Georgia with my truck!!! My bike will arrive next week however...hmmm....

 

hahaha. sorry about the head gasket again. who are you calling respected...after blowing the doors of a 470+ rwhp 03 cobra people still said my car was slow...my turn to add a story about last summer...

so adam (espaceF1fan) was with me in savannah when this kid with a fast cobra and a big ego pulls in the parking lot and says he can beat anybody there...well needless to say this angered a few of us...especially after we found out it had a stock blower and there are at least 2 cobras i know of with aftermarket blowers around (one k-b and one whipple) and more than one sprayed ls1 around. the crap starts and we end up at the usual spot, well what was the usual spot and he proceeds to face rape a retard with a mustang with a 10k motor that makes 330 rwhp...so it was my turn, and adam can vouch for everything i say... the cobra and i decide to try a 30 roll first...we start our roll to where we start and we go...i pull 2 cars instantly (i love nitrous) and continue to pull. this dudes cobra was loud... i mean LOOOUUUUDDDDD so thats all you can hear. Well he had a foglight out and that was the easiest way to tell the difference from half a mile away...and somebody says here comes the cobra, well adam said last time i checked both andrew's foglights worked and i pulled the cobra all the way into sixth gear which is 160+ by about 5 cars. we tried again from sixty and i shifted before the shift light came on...no need to hurt it and still beat him by 3. We honestly had the best possible racing season in savannah last summer. i personally beat a 400 rwhp turbo ka 240, a c5 zo6, the cobra, said 10k wasted motor mustang, adams mustang (more than once), a cammed ls1/t56 3rd gen camaro, 2 nitrous a4 ls1s (i beat one of them all motor), a sr20 240and countless pieces of crap i ran across just for fun. on top of that we didn't go to jail, and we didn't get hurt.
