My friend has a buddy who has one. The license plate says UL LOSE. Apparently, it's a 11 second car - at the track on slicks, LOL. From what I'm told, on the street it gets so little traction that it would probably get whooped by my friend's stock WS6

I had a buddy of mine when I lived in Va Beach, He had a black one with some work to it. And that thing would scoot. I raced him twice, once before he changed his exhaust, And I won, buy a few car links, and then after he changed it and I think his down pipe, I can't remeber totally, But he ended up beating me by a fender. He was a cool guy though. I always injoyed his company.

I just bought a very expensive boost controller that allows me to set a different boost level for each gear. 1st at 375whp just to get me outta the hole!!! 2nd at like 425.... 3rd at 550 and get my full 700whp in 4th. With this new set up I'm hoping for low 11's on street tires. It will be done in 2 weeks... so I'll keep you guys posted.

Yea I was just at my buddies house(Chrysler Fanatics), they have on their property: SRT-10 two door pickup(650hp), 2 Barracudas(one national champ car), a Challenger, 2 Ram pickups, and my buddy's skittle. The skittle is worked, and last ran a 12.3 with old slicks before the clutch blew. He's upgraded a few more things,(and purchased new slicks) and replaced the clutch with a 6-pack, and expects to be running mid 11s without nitrous. I think he said he's in the area of 450hp. Car is still very streetable, but like you said, without those slicks on, it doesn't launch worth a damn. I like the orange color though.

i just recently bought a ????? and i have to admit i love the little thing. it is nowhere near the power level of my SS, but for a fun weekend car, it gets the job done. and it keeps the miles off my SS and daily driver. anyways, i have the 3076R turbo kit ordered for it too and from what ive seen on the forums, they get pretty damn close to the 500whp mark with this on the stock motor.... so we will see
p.s. sorry for hijacking the thread. good kill to the op.

My major issue with the skittle is that they are soo uncomfortable to sit in, at least with the camaro I can be comfortable (6 foot and 290 lbs). There are a few quick skittles around here, and if you compare the price (stock skittle full retail vs. Ls1 full retail when they were both new on the lot) I think most would agree that they are a pretty good deal, considering with that 8-10k you saved on the car you could have a 500 hp track monster, but they don't hook worth a **** on the street, even in stock form.
But as far as I know, tomorrow I take delivery on my 02 z28. So you know where my allegiance lies, and I am part of a chrysler only family.

I've owned a turbo'd Honda and a ????/Neon over the last 8 years. I loved the Honda, but hated the crowd. I built that back in '00, got rid of it in Sept of '05 bought the Neon and added $1200 in used parts to it and enjoyed it until November of '06. Bought a '00 SS in January of '07. I wanted to get out of a car payment so that's why I got rid of the Neon, I can honestly say that the car ran mid 13's at 107 and the previous owner of the SS only ran a 13.2 at 109 which isn't to far off pace. So I wouldn't say the SS is leaps and bounds faster then the Neon I owned. I think quite a few people would be surprised and please if they drove one. I had the ACR model with a Kicker sound system. Car handled great and had a decent sterio compared to the SS (blown front speakers).

Leave it to Crystler to make engines like the skittles and RWD platforms then put the turbo 2.4 in a Neon.
I dont think anything from MOPAR has ever pissed me off more than when they elected to make a wrong wheel drive SRT instead of the Razor concept. That thing would have been a bad car. RWD, better overall chassis, cheap, easy bolt on power.
As if that was not enough, they then went and found an even crappier platform for a good motor. Has anyone even seen a Caliber SRT? Good Lord what a stupid idea.
I have a theory about MOPAR stuff. They basicly have two sets of engineering teams. The 'A' team makes pistons, blocks, head castings, etc. The 'B' team handles chassis, accesories, electronics, etc. I think in certain cases the 'B' teams recruits from the local prisons and whorehouses. Its the only way I can explain how they can make engines that will handle over twice the stock power output and then give us things like 1G DSM MAFS and such.

Someone who has driven one even a handful of times isn't dumb enough to think "slamming" 5th gear is going to put you at 100mph.
Or is your car just a show car?
Anyway.. I'm going to have to raise it.. sorry man.

speaking of skittles, one guy used to chime in here, pretty cool guy actually. He owned a skittle....called it a "POCKET VIPER".....too funny. Fact is though, they can be made to embarass muscle...Anyway, to the OP, good kill, and way to represent bro!...
