I said the same thing about owning an 03-04 Cobra... I have I don't know about 4-5 friends who own Terminators and only a few still have um. 3 of them traded there in for Z06's and well I was forced to sell mine after I repaired it. Ford and there great engineering when I got the "TICK" didn't know I should've pulled the motor taken acouple freeze plugs out to do a "COOLANT MOD" to the car to ensure it wouldn't have went. Well after a expensive repair and took a 4k hit when I sold the car. I saw a friend of mine bought an 02 SLP SS threw a cam in it, longtubes, full bolt on's and made 422 to the wheels it made me a believer. Great kill btw guy out here in CA names Jeff S. has a C6 Zo6 bone stock on street tires ran 11.6.. and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. What all do you have done to your Cobra?

I am not understanding how your heavy *** cobra won the race. What kind of power are you really making ?? Unit is guessing 465 rwhp, if he's correct there is no way in hell you should've won that race unless you drove ***** out and the c6 z hasn't a clue about how to drive the car.

I ran 11.29 @ 123mph with 460rwhp in my Cobra Doug. That's
plenty to pull a C6 Z06 if the driver isn't really on his game.

 

But Unit that is from a dig too. You and I both know that Cobras start laboring real hard when pushed to 150 mph due to the extra weight and poor aerodynamics. That is unless they have a car like yours putting down over 600 rwhp. Then its another story. How fast did you take your cobra when it made 460 rwhp ?? Cobras are not built for top speed, Corvettes are. JMO though.

 

bs...eather the guy wasnt in the rpm range when he "punched" it or he deserves to have his *** kicked for letting you pull on him without a rematch. I would bet ANY amount of money that a bone stock z06 would pull your car on the highway....period.

I once let a guy beat me in a honda civic cause he was 16 yrs old and knew it would make his day..he had maybe 200hp. Take it as you would but DONT call this a kill...it makes you look silly.

 

True, but the trap speed is what I'm referring to. 123mph isn't
all that far off 125-126mph providing the C6Z driver isn't all
that great with a stick.

I agree with you there. Top end runs aren't my thing. I prefer
acceleration vs. ***** out speed. It just doesn't do much for me.
I've had a buddy's Hyabusa maxed out on the freeway and it didn't
impress me all that much.

You have to realize that not everyone knows how to drive a car like
it should be driven. There are always weird things that happen on the
street.

It's streetable alright. In fact, it's kind of famous for that.
Definitely streetable...and definitely not a street car.

I remember racing a 2004 Z06. The guy ran a 14.0. I definitely believe
this kill. A properly driven C6Z would've walked jester though.

yup i would guess 460 +/- 5 and no not a chance in hell will i race you, i know i got lucky on that race and i am not even going to attempt you. here is a thought go pick on some k/b cobras.
