Read This One OK...so this isn't a kill or death but a very interesting tale...I was heading on I77 south towards Cleveland in my grand am daily driver, not my trans am...when in the rear view I spy a early 2000s trailblazer...black, but it has this strange looking hood scoop on it, the front looked kinda weird in the form of different headlights...but I thought nothing of it and kept driving...
about 5 minutes later, I roll my window down a bit to get some air cause i hate being in a car that doesnt have the window cracked or down...All the sudden I hear a whistle coming up by me...i immediately know to look as anytime I hear a whistle, I get excited. It is this black blazer, as it passes, I am thinking this is a limited edition blazer of some sort...ON the side of the blazer there is an emblem that reads "SS 427". This was not any aftermarket emblem SS 427 either, i've done all the searches on it...This was very very strange to me.
So, even if someone got cute and put an SS 427 emblem on their vehicle..it is still using forced induction as i heard it...but if thats true, there is a 427 cu/in charged blazer running around here somewhere...anyone see nething like that in their life?

The only thing I can think of is that Lingenfelter has done some pretty wild motors for some unexpected vehicles. For example a 500+ CI BBC in a suburban, twin turbo 427 Denali's. Its possible that this blazer had the LINGENFELTER touch applied.

Unfortunately enough, i believe the plate was from Michigan...I dunno..it does kinda look like a Lingenfelter touch perhaps...other than that, I do not know what it coulda been...too bad i was in my grand am and not my TA or I woulda antagonized, but if it was a charged 427 i woulda went down lol
