Firehawk vs. Turbo Eclipse *VIDEO*
Video
We ran from 30 to 130. He told me that he just put down 374whp on the dyno. His car is a fully built 2WD 1997 Eclipse GST with a GT30 hybrid turbo capable of 600 hp. He was making tons of boost....
I actually faired a little better than I expected I would..
My car is a 6-speed, and my mods are in my signature.

Wow what a kill! I hate to say it but if he would have brake boosted and shifted faster you would of got annihilated. Good death and keep modding, it wont take much to beat him(i.e.100shot).

says its a FWD not a AWD. Quick little car but he definitely needs to learn how to brake boost. I'm surprised he pulled you as much as he did. I ran a 350+rwhp AWD eclipse when I was stock with just the juice and we were neck and neck from a highway roll. I realize AWD will be slower from a roll but I don't believe it to be that large of a difference with it being FWD and a little more power.

Good run man! You have some strong throttle response at 30!
FWDs do have good roll-on gearing, so if thats what the car is focused on they make sense. Note how nicely thrid worked for him. In an AWD he would not have had that clean a pull in the middle there.
GT30 based turbos are the best street car turbos for a 2L car IMHO. If I upgrade from my 16G thats the route I will go, either full garret or a hybrid.
Honorable for sure.

I thought GST's were all AWD? I'm probably wrong, I don't know much about imports.
You held him off pretty nice before he hit full boost. Listen to everyone else, a 100 shot will hold him off for good.
