While I was slowing down for the impending red light, a WRX STI pulls along side of me rather quickly. At the light he looks over at his girlfriend and looks my way and laughs. (Im in the GT) He asks if I want to see what my "thing got". I said sure. He said from 20. I get to 20 and he says to go when I want, it wont matter.

So I stop at the next light and wait for him to pull along side. He has that look of shame and his girl was giggling now. I just told him practice makes perfect, and rolled out slowly.

 

So what do you have in it?

I guess about 4-5 cars. Not to good with judging distance.

Com cams, stage III patriot heads, 150 wet shot, complete intake, long tubes, upr x, magnapacks. Complete suspension workover, and a very good tune. I have been 12.29 @112 in Baton rouge, LA with 275 nitto 555r's. 12.760 ish on street tires. Oh, a few interior pieces missing also.

She is pretty quick and looks completely stock. Most mustangs have loud exhaust anyways so if you don't notice the lope and the purge, It will suprise you

what are the specs on the cams?

nice kill, never had the chance to run an STi, but I don't think I would want to run one from a stop, *** that.

id assume its on the motor unless its an auto. there are people running mid to high 11s with no heads or cams

Cam specs are 262/ 270, Lift .500/ .500 114 lobe seperation

Cam really woke up the top end. Have 4.10, might have to go to a 3.90 gear. She is redlined in 4th crossing the traps. Need a 6 speed. The intake is a typhoon, although I don't think that it was worth it. I don't have any vids or clips of the setup now, but I am going to the track in 2 weeks. I will try to get some vids then. I hope I upload the right vids......you dont want to see what else is on that tape.

Might blow it up, going to give it everything. It's only money hahahahahahah

 

Yeah, I am looking into the Typhoon manifold as well... not too much of a gain out of the box, but it is three-piece, so porting would be easy and effective.

 

from what i hear the typhoon is the biggest waste of money. when intake time comes ill be p-51 all the way
