99-04 GTs are all basically the same. Trapping around 100mph is very common, and basically expected.

LT1's are .2-.6 tenths faster on average then Edge GT's, stock for stock, tranny for tranny.

Irunelvens, you should know as much as anybody that an Edge GT hitting a high 13 with the M5 is a phenomenal time.
Thats about average for an LT1 Auto.

Saying its 'very close' is like saying an M6 LT1 SS is very close to a 98 LS1 Auto.
Yes in the right sitation like that it is, but thats an unfair comparison. Overall the LT1 is half a second quicker and this is excluding the Edge GT Auto's which are....well... ya know.

well, not according to my time slips from my lt1 racing mustang gts at the local track. I hope I still have them, rofl. my bone stock was pulling at 14.0s at 99 and the 99 GTs there were only trapping 96. There were constantly 3 cars back. And the autos, that without stalls, stock of course, well, there were always 5+. I spent every week at the track two years ago when I just picked up the LT1.

What was the horsepower difference from 99 to 04. I remember 260hp for the 99. How about those other years?

When my 4-door GSR Integra was bone stock.... I stayed right next to an LS1 for a while before he pulled away from me.................
