Default 93 z vs 03, 04 mach 1

I was driving around friday night looking for a race, when i pulled up on a 03 04 mach 1, manual trans. Mods unknown except very loud exhaust. Well we end up going from a 40 roll (my worst place to race from) so of course i expected a loss. To my astonishment i immediatley began to pull. I pulled about 3/4 of a car and he began to pull back. We ran up on a red light and i hit the breaks with him at my front bumper. If i would have went to 110, he definitely would have made the pass. Its not really a kill i dont guess, i was winning, but another 2 or 3 seconds and he would have passed me. It was a quick car, but i expected him to beat me. The car i raced with is the first in my sig

Good run... LT1s are pretty hard to beat off the line.

No joke. My 94 T/A ran a 13.2 @ 103 with similar mods so I think its no shame in that tie or whatever it was.

He might have been in 3rd at the start. Doesn't matter anyway.

You ended in front at the end. Good kill.

I killed a 03 GT in my 96 Z28 M6 last week from a 30mph roll in 2nd by about 1 car length before he let off. My engine is stock except for my throttle body insert. I dont count the flow master as an upgrade cause i think it slowed it up. Dyno macs comming soon. But that's a GT not a Mach 1.
