cool, thanks. so after searching they are aluminum 4.6s dohc's with 03/04 cobra heads, tritan v8 cams, 10:1 compression, and make around 335 hp. well that's what i found, is that somewhat correct? Just curious to know.

hmmm i didn't know that... i was over here thinking that a mach series was just a modified GT... lol. shows how much i know about them... maybe i should be more weary of a mach.

FYI - 99/01 4V and 03/04 Machs are not the same motors. If that mach ran neck with the Supra...it makes me wonder what all could have been done to it, since it bought it used. Was that 300+ dyno after he bought it, or did the sheet come with the car? Then again, he could just be alot better driver than the other two....

^^It's cool. It's possible the old owner added something before he sold it...but nothing you wouldn't notice to give that much of an edge...so props to the driver.
Rob - That is the jist of it. The M5s have a forged crank, the A4s are cast iron (same as GTs). They have a different upper intake than the 99/01 cobras as well. The M5s dyno 275-285 on avg, with A4s being 255-265. The M5s also have a 6800 redline vs. A4s 5800.
sdm1234 - They truly are a drivers race with an ls fbod in stock form. And they are lightyears ahead of GTs (2Vs).
BTW - they also have 3.55 rear gears with a solid rear. GT's have solid but 3..27s, 99/01 cobra's have 3.27s IRS. Because of the navigator intake cams they have much better low end tq as well.

this is the guy in the mach.. bought it with 13k miles on it and had no visable add-ons what so ever. there was a "superchips" sticker on the back bumper.. but im not too sure how much power you can get out of a simple flash tuner..
when i got it dynoed with just intake it put down 291whp/310 tq
after xpipe was 292/325 rwtq
now its got a catback...
either way im sure we all know numbers doesnt mean **** anymore now a days
btw to the 89mph in the 1/8.. i wish.. best time so far was 8.6 at 87 with 2.4 60 foot..
but honestly like the previouse post.. not every modular/lsx motor comes out with same numbers or power.. i guess i just got lucky.. either that or ppl just cant drive around this area

haha yea i read this and watched the video expecting the WS6 to be the quickest one (due to this being LS1tech and all) and it turns out it's the slowest of the bunch. then it lines up with the Supra?!?! oh god i knew it was over then...

The owner of the WS6 is my little brother. He recently moved out here with me to Utah. His car is in very bad need of a tune. Its running pretty rich right now and would get a tune.... but because he just moved cross country money is a little tight.

hows utah. im getting cold and its only like low 70's @ night lol. ****
well with the colder weather it should lean it out for him a little
eric, i think hes only gonna run 20psi on it just shoot for 400~420whp on it. then build the tranny, up the boost, hit it with meth, and some cams and call it a day.

That WS6 ran like **** and who knows about the driver. As for the Mach and the Good sized single S2000, them cars moved out! Mach owner is a damn good driver with a strong car
