Well that saying was coined long before people started modifying Civics, so apparently it's not "only true of 4cyl imports."

3.Inexpensive

The problem is you can only have two!!!! and this fact is magnified when it comes to hondas!!

A reliable, inexpensive car will not be fast!!!!

A fast, inexpensive car will not be reliable!!!!

A fast, reliable car will definitely not be inexpensive!!!

This is just a fact.... and until these kids learn the importance of clearances.... and tuning.... you will constantly see high hp hondas going kaboom!!! BTW.... the honda guys around you must have their heads up their asses..... 3-4 cars behind you and breaking motors.... I didn't start breaking **** until 350+whp and that will rape you... not stay 3-4 cars behind!!!

first of all dont go typing checks our *** can not cash
i said nothing about your car so why are going to try to talk **** about mine when you dont even know what i have and btw you sound real fast behind that keyboard and i did not say anything about going fast being inexpensive ive spent quite the bit of money to have my car the way i wanted it
but the fact of the matter is that i know of very few (none) hondas pushing the same wheel power as me(375) that they can jump in there cars at anytime and go anywhere they would like without worring about realiblty ...... hell have the hondas i see pushing that much power are being trailord to the track
(trying to be nice)

That means they're most likely running too much boost on stock shortblocks... a forged B/H-series (hell, even a D-series) can EASILY hold 400whp+.

\now lets not get into a pissing match here, we all know that a stock ls1 shortblock can handle way more than 400 wheel horses without breaking a sweat...hell without accesories they make more than that at the flywheel...all we're saying is that, for the money, an lsx car will be MUCH faster and MUCH more reliable than any honda. conversely, at any power level (except maybe stock) any lsx car will be MUCH more reliable and MUCH less expensive than any honda...therefore lsx > honda Q.E.D.\

h series jajajaja yah right!!! b series i am impressed with but h22's tend to blow up to easily, believe me we built an h22 12.5:1 compression with a 75 shot and blew it up running 11.8's.

i am so lost right now...

ohhhhhhh...you must be referring to my last post, rest assured the "we" was only used to indicate that i was in agreement with him regarding his statement...i was just clarifying what he meant for those of you who didn't pick up on it the first time around

anyway, i always say what i mean...everybody should do that, the world would be such a better place

No offense, but that sounds like operator error right there... even a stock H22 can take a 75 shot, especially with a good tune.

True but 12.5:1 compression ratio seems a pretty tall order to me.

When a motor starts out at nearly 11.0:1, it's not that big of a jump.
