Lingenfelter Chaos!!
Just coming back from getting a case of beer and i saw a blue z06 up the road. Came flying up to race and noticed lingenfelter across the window. went with it 3 honks i took off got about a length and he came by me like i was sittin still. Says it dyno'd 634 at the wheels all motor. A bad *** car and a kill i will bow to. hope he shows up at the track, curious about the times.

I'm gonna call BS on this one, about the 634rwhp. Unless when he said 'all motor', he meant 'all motor and 2 turbos'.
The Lingenfelter site shows the 2 levels of 06-08 Z06 upgrades (non-turbo) as:
616 BHP Package
524 RWHP / 486 RWTQ
Click here to view chassis dyno sheet
Scroll down for a video to hear the sound
Includes:
Engine disassembly to allow camshaft replacement Professional degreeing of camshaft and reassembly of engine
Ferrea high performance dual valve springs, titanium retainers & valve locks
Lingenfelter ZO6 GT19 camshaft by Competition Cams Lingenfelter High Flow C6 ZO6 Air Induction & 4" diameter Lingenfelter Mass Air Sensor
Port Matched LS7 intake manifold Ported and polished LS7 throttle body 160 degree thermostat Crank bolt, gaskets & fluids Professional installation, testing & tuning
Chassis dyno report before & after installation Excellent drivability, highway mileage not adversely effected Lingenfelter 3 year/ 36,000 mile warranty Lingenfelter certificate of authenticity
These power figures are based on the vehicle having long tube headers on the car when it arrives at LPE. LPE sells and recommends the American Racing Headers $1,695.00 for this application not including installation.
C6 ZO6 LS7 616 BHP package - $5,495.00
NEW upgrade this package to 630 HP
Includes
Engine removal & removal of cylinder heads Lingenfelter full hand porting & polishing of cylinder heads for optimal flow Lingenfelter multi-angle valve job & surfacing for 11.5:1 compression Head gaskets & GM head bolts
C6 ZO6 LS7 630 BHP package - $8,695.00
So I might believe he has the 630FWHP version, and it dynoed an extra 4HP, but no way does he have 634rwhp.
Still a fast car? Yes, but let's keep the numbers sane.

There is no telling what he has done to it. I do know it just got out of the shop. He said it had 634rwhp and i have heard it is all motor. His buddies have a Turbo Vette and Another fast *** vette i think it is supercharged and they were running at the track last night. The turbo vette sounded sweet!!!!!!! The 417 guys have some fast cars.

If it's a C6Z06 then I can beleave it. Those things are doing 550 PLUS rwhp with just bolt ons/tune/cam...Id imagine that heqad work could get him close to those numbers. ( then again the LS7 heads are suppossedly pretty darn good.)

80rwhp for some head work? On LS7 heads? If there was a fraction of that power laying around GM would have found it. I'd believe 25 to get rid of any Mfg inconsistencies.
Lingenfelter would be the 2nd to advertise their gains. Look at the rwhp numbers they will stand behind in my previous post. Maybe add 11rwhp for the 630fwhp option. Still doesn't add up to 634rwhp...
Are they fast? Yes. Do they deserve being whipped up into mythical proportions? No. They are still a Chevy V8. If someone says 634rwhp they should be able to back it up with a recipe on how they got there.

i just talked to him driving down the road after we raced in traffic, didn't have time to discuss the mods but im sure he would lay it all out on paper with the dyno sheets for me if i asked. he runs with the big boys around, twin turbo ws6, turbo c5, turbo ss, and a super fast datson on steriods along with a endless number of others. 417 motorsports built them. i met the owner when he smoked me in a ls1 turbo blaser. i will get on their web site and see if they have any stats on their cars.
