They have a modded redline in my area that just dyno'd at 24?whp. From a dig I put buses on him but from a 40 roll(his choice) he put about 1 and 1/2 cars on me and it took me until about 100mph to pass him. They are quick from a 40 roll, 30 roll, no. I'm also in an auto so that could be way he jumped so much but hes a cool guy and didn't talk **** like this guy did on the forum.

Honestly, I'm not sure that I DON'T believe the story...after all, how many run down, poorly maintained f-bodies are out there? Seems like that is all I see around here anymore...not even the LS1 can be expected to perform well if the owner doesn't take care of it. That's my take on it...granted, I hate domestic ricers even moreso than the real deal.

I like how he claimed the ls1 double clutched when they raced after one guy asked him sarcastically. This guy really is a ricer. I killed a redline by Quite a bit and I get beat by ls1s by quite a bit, But anything can happen on the street.
Why all the sudden do people think that Double Clutching is something that has to be done to race?? lol....Was F&F on rerun all last week? Damn hahahahahaahh

for an ls1 to be so poorly maintained that something like this happens, you're talking:
8 spun bearings
8 thrown rods
6 or 7 nuked pistons
a missing fuel pump fuse
a fragged ignotion relay
no head gaskets
no oil
no coolant
1 spark plug
no spark plug wires
half of an intake manifold
an MAF and IAT in the y pipe
and four flat tires
...
and even that would be a driver's race

You can tell he is rice the way he says intake... What has happened is he got a new motor (stock) that has the power its supposed to have and he thinks his car is super fast.
I have smoked a ss colbalt 2dr and they are pretty much the same thing. And by smoked I mean it wasn't a race. It was from a stop though but I would say the same thing would happen from 60-90

wow, i am speechless. and to think, some are utilizing an open mind and thinking up "possibilities".If a rod was hanging out of the side of my block i would still manage to put busses on a saturn 'redline'. That is the gayest **** i have ever heard, and not only do i want to create a name to call this ol boy out, i will run him in a bone stock tahoe and severly hurt his ego. that guy has no friends.
