13.5? How 'bout 11.83???
Stock Long-Block Mach 1 goes 11.83 at 115.5 mph

He posted a completely uneducated guess at what modded Mach 1's were running,
and he was off by almost 2 full seconds...
I just corrected him is all...

More than a few Mach 1's have run in the 12's completely stock,
and modded cars are running in the mid 12's to high 11's.
Some of you need to do more thorough research on your competition,
while others have obviously done so already...

I know plenty about the "competition". I know enough to know that Mach 1's are not competition.

So far, the 2 resident Mach 1 owners (yourself and roger) have been able to muster a heart stopping 13.34 and a 'lightly modded Mustang GT' like 13.43 ...
In case you haven't noticed, these times are almost a full half second slower than what you are claiming can be accomplished by a Mach 1.
So the question I pose to you, sir Angus ... Do you just suck at driving, or did you get a factory reject?

then what is?
9 second Superbikes?
Top fuel cars?
Rocket ships?
(Certainly an '01 Cobra convertible couldn't be competition for you, right???)
Don't tell me, you have the 1st 5-second '03 Cobra on the planet, right?
You need to let some air out of that big head of yours & get over yourself.
Because once the modding starts, ANY decent V8 RWD platform could concievably be competiton for you...
...even Mach 1's

ABSOLUTELYFUKINGINCREDIBLE???
Or how this Mach 1 ran 12.89 at 109 mph
Or this one running 12.88 at 106.6 mph???

If I used your logic, I'm sure I could find a few 13.5+ ET 2002 LS1 F-bodies,
which would surely mean that ALL LS1 cars are 13.5 second cars...

(I had MASSIVE wheel-spin on the 1/2 shift due to 40 degree track temps)

Especially by the dumbass unit(who pretends he doesnt like mustangs just to be accepted in this site), venkman(who probably dynoed only once where the dyno was probably not working correctly at the time), and many other idiots. Many ignorant fools should get your asses down to a track and actually run instead of bench racing. Hey phantom what do you run? Probably never has run at a track. How about you unit? No guessing, give me proof. All these guys are filled with envy so they have to put down a car like the mach 1. The 03 cobra is a badass car, but there are faster cars out there. Ever seen the turbo mach 1? Yeah thats what i thought. Later.

In any terms a few means more then one, and more then one means a nice view of tail lights for bullitt.
On a side note, I'm not really sure how I got into this discussion, but I would like to clarify that I really have no interest in arguing about how fast a stock Mustang Mach 1 is ... because in reality, I could care less.
BTW, that IS YOUR LOGIC. You are the one claiming that Mach 1's run high 12's, not me. I am the one telling you that because a handful of cars have done it, does not mean that every stock mach 1 is a high 12 second car, just as every stock f-bod is not. I was mearly using you and roger as examples of the norm.

Showing me a post someone made about how they ran a 12.9x in their stock mach 1 does not consititute "SHOWING ME" a car that has done it. I can find you a post of bullitt telling us all how he ran a 9 second quarter mile, would you believe that too?
