Alright i was at my buddies house the other day for a party and a kid in an new GT eclipse shows up. i didnt have my ss there but my friend has his rx-7 in his garage. so when the eclipse kid leaves he starts reving his car cause he thinks his aftermarket exhaust is something special..the next day i have a friend call him up n tell him to race me, he tells the kid that i have a v6 camaro. so we meet in a parking lot and we both pop our hoods and he actually looks at my engine and says "yep thats a v6". then we go race after he talks a lot of **** and i smoke him by at least 8 lengths..he gets mad when i break it to him that i have a ls1..just another example of ignorant kids with their imports

And why would your friend tell him you have a v6? Its not like the race is going to be close with an eclipse anyways.

i dunno ive done the import thing realized my huge huge mistake came back but the time was i there i learned quite a bit now i give the ignorant v8 vibe and still smoke the turbo b18 guys lol

 

My friend told him that as a joke and we figured when he looked at my car that he would be able to count to eight..i dont have anything against imports a lot of them are great cars but this kid always talks down on all domestic cars..he even brags that hes beaten a new GT which no one believes

 

It's *possible* that he has, especially if he's not stock. Those things can run high 13s @ 100+.

When did I say it was comparable to a well-driven LS1? I said that since it's not very far from what an average driver would run in a new GT, it was possible that he beat one. And yes, the kid was an idiot for not knowing it was a V8.
