SRT-8 vs SRT-Neon
I was worried about that but I dont miss it at all right now. Im sure thats due to never driving it, the thing just sat in the garage. I will post the few kills I get but this is my wifes car so as usual, I wont drive it too much either.
Nice, exactly what I plan on! Thanks for the info.

There is a guy on the forums with a CB, CAI, T-stat, Diablo tuner and DR's and he just ran a 12.19 @ 114. Very fun cars!
i ran against one of those 300C srt-8s before i got my SC and new rear end, and i got him off the line, but he got even with me at about 60mph, those damn things are quick, we stayed even til 120mph when we both let off.
he had a CAI and a tuner, and a set of BGF T/A drag radials just like me. surprised to see him keep up as well as he did for a heavy, four door automatic car. but then again, 425 horses is nothing to joke about.

Many funny reasons for the SRT cars running all kinds of times, the lazy TCM/ECM's. The fastest stock times are held by 300's and Ported Performance runs only 300's (in the 11's @123-124 no less) and the 300's are the lightest of the Jeep, Charger and 300 SRT variants. If the Jeep would trap 108-110 stock I would have gone that route.
The TCM/ECM is only half the story and it's only due to tuning for emissions at normal operating temps.
The other reason is the nasty 2-3 diagnostic shift can only be avoided at longer staging lanes. It kills trap speeds by about 3mph.
The 300 has softer springs/shocks so the Charger is definitely faster in the twisties with more driver confidence as well.

Thanks for the input! Exactly what I was worried about.
There is no proof 300s are faster other than the 12.56 @ 111mph at Atco run by a 300. They "might" weigh 100lbs less (I haven't seen proof yet) but slighly less aerodynamic and there are lots of Chargers posting 110mph trap speeds, stock.

It doesnt matter to me anyway, same motor/trans/rear so they are all quick (magnum/300/charger). PP runs the 300 and I like the classy sleeper look of the 300. Thats all. The average times of the 300's seem to be quicker.
If I have any questions, I know who to ask though.
