New Boss Mustang Encounter
Yep. They are nice cars and run pretty damn good for a naturally aspirated
3V. There is a guy that has a lizstick red S281E that attends alot of the same shows I do. He bought his sons one of the PJs each for Christmas last year.

they arent bad lookin cars the had a few of them sittin on the line plus a badass Saleen F-150 the S331 SC
Ive seen a "boss Ed" mustang and they guy said all it had was a exhaust and exterior mods. It had Boss writen down the side under the GT and had the covers over the back side windows.
All right guys...now I know a little more. It turns out one of the guys I work with has a son that works for a local Ford dealer...so we called. As he recalls there were Boss decal kits that sold for $350-400 back around 05-06. All these were for appearance packages some dealers would offer.
Damn...I thought maybe I had bagged a thoroughbred...but it turns out all I did was stroke some workhorse GT with a five speed, tape and an aftermarket exhaust system.
Sorry...next time I'll research a little closer before I post.

Yea, there's lots of guys slappin Boss,Mach 1, and Shelby decals and emblems all over their stock/hardly modified GT's. Even a few dealerships have committed this attrocity for the sake of charging ppl more out the door for them.
Good kill on whatever it was though. Posers FTL.

Thanks.
Beleieve it not I know quite a few of the Corvette owners I associate with occasionally engage in red light wars...the conditions just have to be right. Most of us were doing this in the late 60s-early 70's so other than the newer technology...the thrill is the same. We're older but not dead! That said...I do need to exercise restraint because I do have a lot to lose.
