Howd I pull a c6?
Id like to know how I pulled a c6 yesterday in my "stock" cts-v ls6? Maroon convertible c6, punched from 55-95....pulled about 3/4 of a car on him. No driver error as he was AUTO ..... just like to know how I did so, considering the equal power, and the weight factor. This is the 2nd c6 vert I have pulled on EXACTLY in the same manner from the same speed. Some good input would be appreciated. I have the feeling I just have happened to run into 2 c6's with the "shitty" gearing, however I thought that the "shitty" gearing was rare, and had to be optioned by the purchaser. btw, this was definetly ls2, not an ls3

the weight would be less of a factor from a roll i would think. but he should have better aerodynamics and gearing. i would think it would be semi close but you shouldnt be able to pull him, maybe the car was just in need of a tune up?????

I would say since you are a manual you'd have him to about 100-110 then his weight and aero advantage would take over.

The tune on a C6 is very conservative, and really holds those cars back. A mildly modified C6 Vette that I drove (headers, Corsa, Vararam, and a tune) pulled harder than my more heavily modded SS when I drove it, so they certainly have the potential in them with just a few good parts.

My guess is electronic throttle control doing its own thing and not opening up all the way when told to do so.
Could have been a slow track that day too...all the times I've been to a track, the DA was so high that all cars were running like **** all day long. Stockish six speed F-bodies were trapping about 103-104 all day long...

I took one by three cars up to 70 in my stock car. Simple in my case though, I stalled and launched it, got it to hook, whereas he just tried flooring it straight out the gate. I had better reaction time too.
