Suspension isn't nearly as important as all out power, gearing and weight from a roll. We aren't talking about the 1/4, so why is that even being brought up? I don't care who you've beat from a DIG, DOWN THE 1/4. This is from a roll.

Your car also has severe weight reduction and a built motor with possibly a great driver. Apples to oranges buddy

I'm curious, what was your setup in your F-body?

I'd say a H/C 100 shot F-bod is a 126-128mph car?

Personally, I think the OP is full of ****.

Yea, I have no idea if its real or not and dont really care but I am aware of Unit and myself outrunning a few FI LSX's but it really doesnt matter. My SS was a PP CNC LS6 heads, 233/239/605 TSP, LT's and full bolt ons with 3:42 gear 6spd w/100 shot. I would agree that car would trap 125-130 but I never ran it at the track. Bench racing at its finest.

I would do it all over with a large cube and a 200 shot (in a C6 though), that will do it.

ON a side note: Has anyone seen the prices on 02-03 Z06's? They are 22-26K around me with low/average miles! Wow, thats nice.

Not all the time. If it was a BIG shot you could hear it come on. With only a 100 shot it would be hard to hear. Hell, I have a 150 on my car and you cant hear it come on, you just fill it.

by the way Good kill on the Camaro

No argument from me. We are all entitled to our opinions. Yours just sucks.
you have obviously never used nitrous.

i had a 75 dry shot on an old car of mine, and you could clearly hear it get louder once i flipped the switch. with a progressive controller, or something like it, maybe not as much.

Its only a 100 shot and who to say it is even a good N2O kit. It may only be making an extra 65rwhp if it is a shitty kit, like NOS. the camaro did jump good at the start. Also you dont know what the bottle psi was. If it was a good N2O kit and the psi was at 650 he would be lucky to pick up 50rwhp.

Sounds like it was a runner

I'm not in disbelief that your Cobra or Units for that matter is faster than a h/c 100 shot, FI LSX whatever it may be.

A c6? Nah! My brother is currently in the same situation and I keep telling him to find a nice z06 (around 25-27 in the gilbert area) and save about $10 grand. Whats a warranty when you already have the mind set to modify it anyways and its easy to work on (aside from the clutch/tranny/torque tube). Besides, they're lighter

Agreed. Im holding out for a C6 Z06 but it may take a little while. Seeing C5 Z06's for $25K is a damn bargin though! Forged 408 shortblock and a 200 shot.....oh my.

I was probably using nitrous before you were out of diapers. Go back and read my post. The only way you will (hear) nitrous is if you flip a switch while the car is already into a run. Not the best way to do it (as portayed in the F&F movies). Engine tone may change, but that's about it unless you can see the change in the grayish smoke out of the exhaust due to more fuel being dumped in to keep the A/F correct with the added oxygen. WIth a progressive or WOT switch...you can't tell.

I'll prove that wrong as soon as I get home with a PERFECT video. You can hear the nitrous engage AND you get to see the smoke

Maybe you've seen it? It's of Broke7 (bad *** driver, ported/pullied/bolt on cobra) against a 100shot, cammed/bolt on z28 or SS (cant remember which).

you can too tell. jesus, how dense are you? you dont know everything, you have already proved that.

you probably wont hear it if you are doing a roll race and are already above your window and floor it, obviously because its instant... but fact remains, you CAN hear it engage and i had it on my car. are you telling me i dont know what im hearing out of my own car? i knew you ford guys were stupid, just not that stupid.

04Terminator

Post up some pics of your cars for these whippersnappers.

BTW...I've sprayed a hell of a lot of nitrous and I could never hear it.
