Default Finally!!!

so after months of hunting, (my last street race was in october) i finally got someone to race me tonight...

a red, 240sx with some exhaust, dont know what else was done to it...it comes up beside me and starts reving over and over at me, i was gonna wait for him to honk but he just takes off

so i see him slow down a bit in front of me and i speed up to match him, we slow to about 40 on I-35 (bad for cops, but i was so desperately needing a race), and i hear him trying to accelerate again so i dropped it to third and lost traction, caught the top of third and hit it about half way thru fourth and we fell back like he hit it in reverse....

afterwards? oh yes, the obligatory ricer flyby....

it might have actually been this girl i used to work with that had one the same color and year that was turboed....she was always talking **** about how she would take my car down....i shouldve looked over to see if it was her, but i was on the phone at the time

im just glad i finally got in a race, ive been FIENDING for one...

Fiending for a race but can't even hang up the phone when you get one? I don't know about you but, win or lose, I need all my concentration when I race even if it's just to avoid the stupid other people...

Oh well, good win.

nah it was 3:30am last night so no cars on the free way at ALL except for our two, and i new it wasnt even going to be decent compition...

If i was planning on the race lasting more than 3-4 seconds i might have needed to hang up lol...

ya it was pretty late, and not a car on the road except us...

And i think it was around 40-45 ish, i know it was slower than the posted 65 speed limit....

Whatever it was when i dropped it the clutch the revs in 3rd gear were about 4000rpms, and it definitly got squirrly...and this was on 315 nitto 555r's....cars been running good in the colder night weather...

I-35 in oklahoma?
A little further south....but ya no point in pinpointing the exact location lol...

Now that im thinking about the race tho, i think it was that turboed one that girl was always talking about. because after the fly by, i could see her way up there on 35, atleast at 130-140, i mean FLYING up the highway.....

which would make me think it was pushing something, and when i did run her, i only put like 2 buslengths on her and shut it down, i think it would be much worse with just a cat back 80's 240sx

Right?
The only reason I ask is because pretty much anywhere from San Antonio to Austin on I35 is pretty busy even at 3 AM.

true. don't wanna be a dick...just saying descriptive places...maps, destinations, times, locations,..area's..... are all not something to be mentioned.

Unless...ofcourse your stories are like mine, fabbed up, or artifical like delta pointed out

Even if there was a cop on here that was spying on the street forum, there isn't much if anything he could do. Sure he (would) know the time and place it occurred but it won't do him any good considering he wasn't there and this has taken place a while back. Most races I've ever had were random occurances either on my way to/from school or work. And the guys who post about meet races or whatever, usually aren't dumb enough to post the time/place of the meet and if it will be occuring again.
