after i buy another beater car and build a lil ole 383 turbo LT1 i wont have to worry bout ANY gt500 i see hehe but yeah he did get a jump on me and from a roll where those cars are stronger so i say not bad for my home-built LT1 with no dyno time yet and daily driver... oh and mine's still pretty tight too

I saw on on the interstate last week. In rush hour traffic...

They are heavy but those 5.4 liter motors are amazing. I think of them as a good mid-life crisis car. But, with weight reduction, a few bolt-ons, big tires, and a tune they are mean!

 

I agree with you...thos Gt500s look great! I prefer the BLACK Roush Stage 3 or a 427R. If I could afford the Roush I would be all over it!! Best looking american car on the market..IMO.

 

I ran into a guy that other day at the gas station with a new-ish (not sure of the year, I think '06) Roush Stage 3... that car was SICK. Said it made 448rwhp on 10psi with a couple boltons, which makes me

 

Maybe next year I will sell the Lotus for the Roush..then I will own an LS1 AND a mustang...then I can just argue with myself all day about how much faster one is over the other. hahahaha

i really didnt think the gt 500's were that special till one day one parked next to me at the movie theatres (white with blue stripes) thing was gorgeous but it looked like a tank compared to my little LS1. honestly id rather choose a termie over the 5.4

 

awesome kill...i'm sure he must have felt ashamed in front of his girl when he got beat by a car that's 10-15 years older than the one he's driving lol!! Not to mention that he just spent a boatload of cash on a car that lost (more or less) its first race to a good ole' LT1. And I agree...they are ugly as sin. Nice kill man.
