My best kill... I'm not one to post kill stories, i mostly just search to get answers to all my ???s from you guys but just had to post this one up cus i'm pretty proud...
So i'm driving down the street on my way home from a buddy's house when i come up to a red light right behind a brand new gt500 with the dealer plates still on it... the ******* sees and hears me behind him (my car is pretty loud and lopey), just mindin my own business in my freshly detailed car, and starts revvin his exhaust right at me and laughin with his chick in the car, the light turns green and he has the great idea to do a burnout and blow smoke at me!
so i get pissed and get over in the next lane, we're doing about 20mph, and i hear the guy just hammer it when my window was right around his exhaust so i hammered it too. i slowly start to creep up and past the guy,and he let off with the rear of my door at his front bumper doing maybe 120-130, and makes a quick left turn. it felt good to put him in his place and make him look bad in front of his girl. especially since he just paid like 20times more for his car then what i did for mine hehe and personally i thought mine looked better

great kill man. there is some kid around here who got one for christmas, and wants to run me. he was slayed by my buddies 396 71 Z28. now he wants to run something "more on his level". apparently more on his level is 653 horsepower...but shhh he doesnt know that yet. he thinks i made it loud on purpose, and bought it that the whining sound, which is loud and pronounced, is air escaping from a broken coolant cap....i love stupid people

i was pissed! hehe but my slowly passin him, and from a roll at that, made me feel a lil better. i shoulda blew his girl a kiss! hehe
hey lt1sc95z, unless that gt500 is heavily modded you're gonna destroy him! im a in the 400's right now with a lil weight reduction in an m6 and from a dig i'd probly pull at least 2 cars or more on one

I'm a die hard chevy man, always have been, always will be; however, you have to respect the V8 SVT's, and I personally like the looks, especially the looks of the new
GT500's. And remember, it only takes a little tweeking on the 03-present cobras to make them sic! Respect them for what they are, American muscle...although like most americans, they need to be on a diet.
Don't get me wrong, I don't ever plan to own a Ford, they're just not me, but I have to give respect where it's due.

die hard GM guy, own a 1980 camaro, my race car, my convertible 95Z28 and my 2000 trans am, and love them.
but the new GT500's are amazing to look at, and dont sound bad at all. with a tune, gear and tires they are pretty quick. but i agree completely with DocT that they do need to shed some pounds. but i shouldnt talk, my 95 is heavy as hell.

Nice kill, sounds like he was trying to show off and it backfired. Not taking anything away from you but you did say the car still had the dealer tags on it. If it was that new I can tell you from experience it was very tight and as it loosens up it gets much faster. If he was still at your back door at 120-130 I would say he was doing very well for a brand new tight car. Anyway nice kill but also beware they are beast with just a few bolt ons and a tune.
