Default First kill!!!!

This is my first post, so go easy on me. I got my first kill tonight. I have a 02 WS6 m6 with the mods in the sig.

This 99-04 body style Mustang GT had been following me for a couple of miles, and we finally got stopped at a light. He looks over and revs at me, so I return the favor. The light turns green and we both go. He took me off the line, I bogged it a little bit. It was a fairly short race as there were cars behind us. I only ran through the top of second. I don't know if he missed a shift or what, but once I got going he just disapeared. It seemed like he was a couple of lengths back when I let off.

Not much of a race, but I will take it. The 'stang had a healthy sounding exhaust, but I don't know what was done to it.

If he got you off the line but was a couple lengths back by the top of 2nd, he could have let off a bit once he saw you were pulling in front of him. But good kill nonetheless, as it wouldn't have really mattered

those cars r slooow! i burned all the way through 1st nose to nose with one when he had traction then left him as if he were stopped once i hooked up in 2nd, you would of had no problem with him if he didnt chicken out! hehe

Looking at your mod list, it's no surprise that you left him like that. But FWIW, if 99-04 GTs are "slooow," then so are stock LT1s

If stock LT1's are slow then so are 98 S281 SC Saleen's... Because I got one by a nose when I was stock.

Yeah... they are pretty slow as well. Whether you should have beaten him or not.

Yeah, I consider my car to be "quick." That would be on the good end of the "slow" spectrum.

I think you're right. After I let off he caught up and flew on by, he was on it pretty good. What does a mustang gt normally run in the 1/4?

I think I might have the slowest "performance" car on this forum. Nothing can beat the raw fury of 121rwhp out of a turbo 2.6L. Most sub 2-liter civics leave me in the dust. Now that the title of slow is out of the way, good race and next time try and get a run where you can actually go at it.

Hell all those cars up to and including the GT500 are slow, and so is my car its the slowest of the slow cars. Until I click off a 10 second pass, then my car is super slowwwwwwwwwwww.

nice kill on the stang. there is a **** ton of them around here, and i couldnt get one to race me for ****. maybe its cause i have my 3 1/2in exhuast pipes running straight from my headers on my blown motor, with a four inch cowl, but it would still be fun lol.

stock LT1's LS1's and mustangs arent really slow, we are just used to faster. they just seem painfully slow after you put some mods on your car, and get used to the feeling of the back end sitting down, the front end coming up, and the speedo climbing like there's no tomorrow.
only good thing about a stock motor is you dont have to worry about it pulling an internal supernova.
