not what magazines say and what a normal driver bone stock runs.

99-04 gt= 14.0-14.6

haha my car pulled an "internal supernove" when the motor was stock... thats why ive got the motor i have today hehe... but the mustangs weren't a problem back then either... a nicely built supercharged one would be a good race though i bet

stock LT1's LS1's and mustangs arent really slow, we are just used to faster. they just seem painfully slow after you put some mods on your car, and get used to the feeling of the back end sitting down, the front end coming up, and the speedo climbing like there's no tomorrow.
only good thing about a stock motor is you dont have to worry about it pulling an internal supernova.
i think he would not race you cause that would have been an *** rape with no lube and he knew it

thanks man, i love it except the gas mileage sucks! hehe... i was a mechanic for bout 7 years so that helped me get it together right the first time, but it'll never be done, i'm always wonderin what to do next. love the compliments for keepin it clean considering how old it is and love the money saved for doin it myself... but all in all i respect any person, if ur a true car enthusiast and enjoy the hobby as much as i do, as long as ur not a dick about it
