So I was on the highway today, lots of friday afternoon traffic so I was over in the left lane cruising along at 75. I see a black mustang GT coming up behind me, looked to be early '00s style. He gets right up behind me and then gets next to me in the middle lane and I see its a vert with the top down and some kind of exhaust, very loud. I figure why the hell not, right? So I get behind him and he just jumps on it, and starts weaving thru traffic. I paced him to about 100 and said screw it because there were too many cars. I was getting off the same exit as him later on, and I also went to the same gas station. He comes over and tells me he beats camaros all the time (mind you I'm in a T/A) and he wasn't surprised that he killed me. I didn't really know what to say to that so I got my gas and left. Now that I think about it I could have tried to get him to run again to shut him up...but damn.

 

he is the typical ******* who thinks he has a fast car man. not saying that title belongs solely to guys in mustangs, but it does seem to show itself quite often.
then again, every type has its own **** talkers.

 

Yeah, I was just pretty shocked that he actually thought he beat a car that wasn't racing

 

happens all the time to me, i cant exactly hear most cars from inside mine, ive been just cruising along, and someone could have hit it ten cars back from me and zipped by...its just like ok, your a tough guy, line up with me and lets see what happens

I had that happen with a guy and a girl in a civic. I kept staring at it since it was really riced out and I didnt see one like that for a while now and we were next to eachother going about 40 and I had my radio off and she looked at me and said something like hey mike she was referring to get boyfriend driving i guess but she said didnt we just beat a trans am. I thought to myself great I might get fucked up by a civic right now. Anyways I know he didnt have an intercooler so I assumed no turbo but possibly spray. Well we hit a light and he asked me if it was modded and I said all stock just a catback. I let him leave for a second and smashed it out of the hole putting a solid 4-5 cars on him before I was out of first and when I let off in 2nd I had about another 4-5. My car at the time basicly had all bolt ons minus headers and ls6intake but I have a 3000stall and I had drag radials on so I was able to mash it hard and it hooks through first then at the next light a few miles later he said he spun pretty bad all I heard was tire screaching but not spinning. So anyways I said we can try a roll and he said ok but then turned off the road about a mile down the road and his gf didnt say anything after I beat him the first time she was quiet

Hahaha it is usually the german/exotic cars that pull this move around here. I have had a vert. 350Z try that before too. Pisses me off, but there is NO F'N way i'm gonna go chasing them down and wreck. If you wanna run, LINE THE **** UP.
