This guy could by lying about his mods, because he has told me before that it was 600+ rwhp with a blower but the story changes every time. He also believes that LS1s put down around 200rwhp and talks such a mountain of **** that people started climbing that instead of everest. Basically, what I'm asking is if I will get my *** handed to me because I've heard that the A4 stangs can be pretty fast when tuned right. Its a no money race so I won't feel bad but just wondering what I should be prepared for. I would like to put him in his place but the mods seem kind of even and I would give it to the newer car in that case.

 

380rwhp from those mods he's definitely lying about something. Maybe if he sprayed a 50 shot. I'd say, given he has full intake/exhaust, he's MAYBE at 360-370rwhp TOPS. Then again with all the 600hp talk with just a blower, he's a bull *******.

I know I know, bench racing. But he just called me right before I posted and said he wants to meet me for a run tomorrow. I'll bring my brandy new camera along and post the results.

 

I know one guy who I went to high school with who drives an 05 GT and he NEVER wants to race. He got the flowmasters from ford and i think he has a few small things, but you should really have no problem.

I knew I was going to catch **** for it at some point, might as well be right off but I'm thinking it will be pretty close, I just did a full tune up today (lost one of my $6 spark plugs behind my motor mount ARG) so hopefully I can put some hurting on him for the amount of smack he talks.

 

380 with just that?? is it a roush or something? no regular GT with those mods and A4 should be puttin down those numbers to the wheels. Take him up on the run and Bust his ***!

 

First of all he is either a great lier and has a small shot or just an idiot. No way in hell he is putting down much more than 330 to the tire with just intake and exhaust. They dyno right about 270~RWHP stock so he would need full exhaust including LT's and a C & L intake or something close to get close to the 330 to the tire # I just said.

That being said its a drivers race if he can launch off the stall and because he has an A5 which keeps the engine in the powerband more of the time.

 

Its an A5? Didn't know that. I'm mustang illiterate I guess.

Got to know the competition, even though I don't consider most of them competition. I enjoy crushing Saleens, Rousch's and GT500's!

 

that's outright bullshit. Unless he's hiding at least a 75 shot he is around 300-310rwhp. and 320-330rwtq. Also, 600rwhp might be possible with a blower, but it would take a lot of others things as well. There are several Vortech HO supercharged '05+ 'Stangs on mustangforums and through an auto with a catback they're putting down ~425rwhp and ~390 tq

 

okay, theres no way in hell hes makin 380 whp with those mods, considering hes through an auto with those mods hes prob right around 300whp. the only way he would have 380 is maybe with a 75shot, and about the 600whp blowrer thing, tell your friend hes a complete idiot. none of the 3v are runnin over 550whp on the stock internals for long. he would get about 4 pulls out of it at that pwrlevel and boom.

haha i know, my cars like 3900 without me in it lol i have about a 75lb system to.thats y i went turbo, i need the extra tq to get me movin lol. but im runnin a 70mm

 

untill you get to the stageIII supercharged roush there basically the same as a gt just heavier lol

 

Heh. The x-charger works damn good for me! little giggle gas along with my 8.8" coming in I hope to go mid 12's. on otherwise stock block
