After I get my car tuned I would like to run a few of them around here. One guy I know has all the bolt ons and is close to 500rwhp. But we will see if 500rwhp will cut it

hey wicked .... 393 rw ... with stock heads? Thats impressive. 
That was on stock tuning and stock heads, I only had a maf translator to lean it out a little so I know there was more left
But the 03 cobra will have to bring more since my S2 GTP's are going on soon

I'm torn between the TR "old man cam" and the LPE cam (basically the same specs as the old man cam) ... both say they idle like stock, which is what I am looking for, but I have yet to figure out which will make the power. Both have me worrying about the Lifts too (approaching .600)
Whata ya think?

Re: killed 03 huffer snake If they had the "holy pulleys" (according to the ford guys in my area) "they would be laying down near 500rwhp" and there's no way your 429 at the wheels could've beat them. At least thats what I've been told. :
king: i'll say this. all of them spun real bad. i dont! 500rwhp is useless if you cant get it to the ground. from a roll they may have gotten me. but out the whole the ones i raced got killed

For what you want, try a TR224 on 114.
I also recommend the cam I'm running, but it's on a 112.

Everything aside though, the 03 Cobra is very nice. I'd definately drive one if I had the money. The 4.6, imo, has needed a blower for a long time.

I have heard a few 224/112's ... never a 114 tho. however the 112s seem to lope pretty nastily ... i need something that sounds exactly like stock ... possibly a tad bit off, but definately not something that sounds like it has a cam.
I'm goin for the stealthy approach..
I was thinking a 220/220 114 might be more appropriate ... I have never heard it however.
I have heard a few 224/112's ... never a 114 tho. however the 112s seem to lope pretty nastily ... i need something that sounds exactly like stock ... possibly a tad bit off, but definately not something that sounds like it has a cam.

Then you need somethin with a 115 LSA or higher. Not many aftermarket cams are gonna sound stock. If they do, whats the point? People, especially ricers, still think mine is a V6 with a TR224 on a 114. I have 3" single outlet exhaust and no Z emblems.
