Pulled up behind one on my way home and saw the SRT-6 Badge. Thought he might take off because he had been driving alittle quick. Light goes green and sure enough he jumps on it.

I peddled the **** outta my car in first and slowed his pull but never gained anything back, only ran to maybe 80-85. Only chance I was going to get to run him, but i was impressed with it I guess..

Any clue what these things run?

My car runs 12.4's -5's 1.6 60's all day with a DR N/A, but street tires is another story Best is a 12.8 with a 1.9 60' Trapping around 109-110

I am thinking if I was side by side start he would have put 1 1/2 cars on me off the line (due to me spining and pedeling the car) and from there I could have pulled it back and passed him in a longer run.

But they are quick

 

Not sure what they run, but they are fun to drive. It has all Mercedes parts in it, it's a superchared 6 with tons of electronics. When I bought a SRT-4 I got to go to the SRT Track Experience and drove the hell out of one. Great fun car, if we didn't have kids I'd get the wife one.

 

There 13.5 stock.

 

I ran one in my Exige one time from 70 to 120 and it was even all the way. It was a really fun race and the guy was really cool.

 

Those Crossfire SRT-6's are notging to sneeze at. I've seen a time of 13.3 at 107 for a stock one and of course with their supercharger just a pulley change/tune wakes them up considerably.

because they are being discontinued there should be a price drop coming up on them, and from there they will start showing up more and more with people more likely to race.
id like to run one, just to see the thing, hear it and watch it run. definitely an underappreciated little car.
