lost to C5

to start off im pretty much a stock M6, just a lid and catback...going down 77 thru hachie i had a C5 in front of me i sped up next to him through him a deuce and we both just kinda sped up at the same time, didnt lose to bad from a 20 roll maybe by a car or a little more up to about 60-70, what mods would i need to beat a stock C5? Im on new raptor tires, and spun through 1st and 2nd for the most part on stock rims...he was a cool guy, older he turned off on to 287, but this was the first kinda race i had, got the car 2 wks ago

if you dont spin you'll prob hang right with a C5 but just do all your bolt ons and you wont even have to worry about them anymore!

Its hard not to lol sometimes the tires grip decently and sometimes they dont depends on the road...i really need to get some ZO6 rims and good tires

i say just bolt on's and some nittos 555 drag radials and 373's and full exhaust and a tune. but that's just my 2 cents

I had minor bolt ons, and a stall, and was able to walk one. I have crappy Sumo's so traction is always an issue for me.

I just got lucky though. And was able to pull the win.
