As I was leaving the base today for lunch I noticed that there was a RT/10 Viper about 1/4 mile ahead of me on the freeway. I made my way through traffic over the next few miles to get even with him to see if we could have a quick run. Well, the traffic on the freeway didn't permit so I just gave him a thumbs up and got over to the slow lane in front of him. I exited to go to my house and was paying little attention to what the Viper was doing. Well...he ender up taking the same exit as me and we hit a red light at the end of the off ramp .

He put his car up to about 4000 RPM waiting for the green light so I knew he was game. My runfalts won't let me launch hard but I gave it a shot anyways. When the light turned green he jumped out by about 1 1/4 on me (I smoked em) and I had to play catch up the whole time. By the time we shut down at 115-120 he had about 1/2 of a car on me. The guy ended up living in the same development as me and he followed me to my house and we BSed all through lunch. Needless to say....I'm ******* starving now.lol

All in all it was a fun run. I think if I had a nice set of tires I could have taken him. Oh well, can�t win them all.

Oh...He had full exhaust a CAI and a tune. Exact same as me. I forgot to ask him what year it was though.

Good run, once you get the heads/cam you should have the upper hand on that rematch.

nice kill man. i pulled a new srt-10 through 2nd and 3rd, but my clutch stuck to the floor going into 4th! argh!!

love the vipers though, i tried to mess with a 97 blue/white GTS, my absolute favorite viper, and the guy didnt want none. i was bummed.

 

I hate runflats. They are worthless and dangerous. I switched in only 2 weeks of owning my car to 19 Pirelli P Zeros, big difference.
