haha...not really but one did want to race me today. I was going back to the motorpool on base and I had just gone thru the gate when this newer black Sonata started to pace me. I'm in the left lane an I need to get into the right lane to turn farther down the road. So I speed up only to have this guy match my speed--i'm like "WTF is this guy doing? is he serious??" Still not believing it I slow down to try an get behind him an he's doing the same thing. "F'n Christ" Any other time I might've just smoked the D-bag but my car is pretty loud an I didnt want to bring any attention to myself, especially since I noticed they were painting cars with the radar quite abit lately on post. Well, once he realized that I didnt feel like "being a retard" today he finally let me get into the lane an be on my merry way I don't know, maybe the dealer told him he could smoke Trans Ams all day with the V-6 model?

Yeah, that was the great thing about having a really loud wastegate on my slow *** conquest. Get next to a guy in a cobra or something and psssshhh and he gets all agitated and goes for it. That car couldn't keep up with a frozen snail.

I had a lady sitting in my blind spot for about 5 miles or so the other day as I went 70MPH in the middle lane of a 3 lane 65MPH freeway. I got annoyed at that, since she was going less than the limit as I passed her in the first place. I sped up to about 85 for a moment. She paced me. I slowed down to 65. Still there. I swear the Blue angels dont formation fly this well. I look back at the car and she is on her cell phone.

Stupid people in many parts of this country and the world in general simply dont know how to drive. They dont read gages, they dont maintain or monitor speed, they dont hold the vehicle steady in a turn. They cant park. And they basicly use other people on the road as a measure of how fast they decide to go. So when captain dumbfuck in the left lane is going 5 under the limit and you finnaly have to go into the slow lanes to get by, he/she/whatever it is speeds up. Because they are just that fuggin stupid. I saw some lady in the fast lane nearly cause a 7 car pile up because she just had to be in the fast lane while going 10 under the limit and talking on her cell phone. 2 cars behind her locked up their tires a bit as she cut into the lane.

These people tend to drive Hyundais and Kias, very obnoxious trucks that sound like armageon but run 14s at best, or champagne colored Buick Park Avenues.

Get used to it people. Photo radar and progressively crappier parents mean that this will not be getting better any time soon.

dont mean to sound like a dumbass but im guessing photo radar is this: camera takes of pic of you speeding then you get a ticket in the mail? kinda like the red light cameras? also, they run radar on base?

we dont have photo radar here that i know of but.....we have red light cameras but they are facing towards you before you pass under the red light and we dont have front tags here so if you ran it they couldnt snap your tag number. WTF??? ******* photo radar sounds like it sucks.

Here in PHX they take a pic of you in the car from the front, then a shot from a second camera of the rear plate.

Thing is, there is no ticketing officer. Now if you go to court to fight a ticket, and the officer does not show up, you generally dont get found guilty and basicly get off free. In the case of photo radar, thats not really possible, and many judges rightly hate that. Especialy since its basicly more for raising revenue than for public safety. The money grubbing ******** that run Scottsdale out and out said that the photo radar there is for raising cash in a press conference. Freind of mine got one such BS ticket in the mail. Being that it was mailed to him, not served by a process server, he simply ignored it. That was 18 months ago at least. No repercussions whatsoever. Legally they dont have a leg to stand on in most cases. They rely on fear to get people to comply. Which is exactly what this country is not about.

We also have the redlight setups. Funny how they shorten the length of the yellow at such lights hugh? Judges have been questioning those too.

Municipal governments are often a bunch of crooks and I love seeing state and federal judges put them in their (pretty small) place. Photo-radar does jack to make people safer and often it nearly causes accidents. the aformentioned near 7 car pile up was caused because dumbass lady slowed way down right after entering the fast lae because of...you guessed it, photo radar.
