Your points are purely pathetic.
If you haven't taken notice, there are 4's running low low 7's at 195 mph. And there are 6 cyl. cars pushing mid 6's now to.
You are taking cars that run purely off methanol and alchol and claim them as your own. There's not one part on there cars that even comes to close to resembling your own.
I don't see any LS1 motors pushing 5's either.
The point is, you told us we would never run 12's,11's,10's,9's,8's,7's and now 6's. O, and now where in the 9's all motor.

You turned this into a 4cyl vs 8cyl debate. I just merely provided you facts and you ignored them. I said when a 4cyl could put down some good times to the best of the v8's I'd take notice.
Yes there are some phenominal 4cyls out there but they are better suited for rally and road racing. Drag racing is about weight and power as well, but weight reduction makes no sense when you are dumping cyls as ballast!

Re: LS1 beat by SRT-4 I'm not a huge fan of 4 cyl turbo cars, but there's a 1g eclipse(might be talon, dont remember exact details) that rolled down to tulsa international raceway a few months back from Kansas, looked stock minus an obviously aftermarket muffler, was running like 11.50's all night on street tires. ULTIMATE sleeper. Minus the fart can it appeared to be nothing. Surprised more than a few people

In GENERAL, rice cars will never see fast times, that the V8s at the track get more often than not.
Every now an then, there is a fast 4 banger, but not to often. Yes they are getting faster, I raced an SRT-4 from a roll (big mistake) and I don't think I breathed properly until after I barely got my nose past his. I'm so glad F-bods have big front ends.
Go to the track, and keep count of the # of V8s there are and how many 4 bangers there are, then keep track, car for car, who had the faster times.
