I have a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. It is pretty much stock except for a cold air intake and a Predator tune. I took it out to the track to get a baseline before I start modding it. Funny thing is I get lined up against a 2002 WS6 6 speed that has headers, gears, lid and a 125 shot. I caught the opponent sleeping at the light. He sprayed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear trying to close the gap, but couldn't. I ran a 13.01. My 60' time was 1.844.
While the Jeep is nowhere near as fast as my old TA, it was satisfying to be out at the track again, even if it was in a 4800 lb SUV.

Nice run...I love the Jeep SRT8s!
Perhaps someone should've reminded the Trans Am driver that he was on a race track! Must've just spaced out for a short bit....of course I can't say much, I probably would've roasted the tires on the light and would've ended up with the same result! HAHA!
