I think you mean blower... lightnings are supercharged, not turboed. It was probably a whine you heard. Nice kill, though! We gotta keep those Ford guys on their toes (especially the mustangs, we gotta have our fun til '05!)...

Nice kill. I killed one of those guys a few weeks ago. By the way, I think that was the longest run on sentence I've ever seen .

Nice kill. I was pacing one last night and we finally got up to a light and his window went down. He said it was not much of use to run because I would kill him. I guess that is called an intimidation kill. Also, you caught him on the roll...definitely not their strong point. They are a little tougher off the line. They launch well for a 4500lb truck. ANyway, I always need a truck/SUV in my garage and would love to have that as my everday driver. Just can't afford it at this point.

Well, this is the first ive ever heard of a turbo "lighting", but i guess they are slow.

:p

Actually, if it was a stock lightNing, it doesnt surprise me. Seeing as youre in houston, the heat and humidity absolutly kill the L's performance. Back when mine was (briefly) stock, i ran 14.1's in summer weather. NOTHING changed, in 40' weather i ran 13.5 with 3 more mph.

Good kill

yeah i must of made a mistake about the turbo but i know it was aftermarket for sure. I dont know though i raced lightings on the freeway and well they dont beat me they do keep up pretty good for a truck i mean.
