ThisBlood is right. Roush doesn't have anything that will hit a low 12 factory stock. I can see them hitting a 12.8 at 108 or so with a really good driver

What about this one....P51A

The new ROUSH P-51A™ engine has a preliminary rating of at least 510 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. torque. It is anticipated that final figures may even be slightly higher than this when final testing and calibration is approved by the ROUSH engineering staff.

I wasn't aware they had bumped up the P-51's power to over 500. Guess we'll see what the numbers look like when some testers get their hands on one. But considering how low a production that car is slated to be.....I don't think I'd lean on its impressiveness too hard.

No 427R is going to run low-mid 12s. 13.0 with a good driver. They are not offered with an auto trans. MMFF got a 12.2 out of a bone stock GT500. Fastest production mustang to date. The new Saleen S302E has a claimed 650 bhp and should run low 11s with some traction.

I think the 427R is one of the best looking Mustangs out..next to the Roush Stage 3. A person can get into the 427R one for around 37k used. Thats not bad.
But then again...I person could get a 04 Cobra for for like 10k less

True as really exotic fast cars go. So that makes your car, well...an unexciting old stock camaro.

"We used a set of drag radials to coax a 12.20..."

I stand corrected on the auto for the latest 427R.
