Why don't ya'll shut the hell up, and the OP get a race and all this hypothetical crap will be solved.
And I think EVO's are nice cars but they some like they fall apart alot, and I'd never give up my LS1 for a shitty 4 banger.

Because I'm not so narrow minded that I ignore the facts of how they perform. Judging by the post you just made, you don't have any knowledge of what an EVO9 is. Maybe you rode in a stock EVO7 but you've never had any experience with a modded EVO9

Pretty sure you could've gathered enough advice through the past 4 pages of bullshit. Assuming the ricer fanboys are correct and it's a 12.5 car to your 13.0 car, you will probably want to run from a roll... or pray that he can't launch. And race for money just to make it worth his while, so he can't bust out the "gas is expensive" excuse.

1. Race for money, make it worth while
2. Race from a roll because you obviously cannot launch your car and no one knows about EVO boy
3. You have a good chance of winning
4. Stop bitching and just ******* race.

That would be fun, but I would definitely get kilt. Looks like a nice setup you got there. I'm a ways from where you are. I'm working on getting a built 402 and a bigger turbo, but I should only be in the 750 rwhp range with this silly rear mount setup. Once I get the trans and rear upgraded, I'll be ready for a real turbo kit.
Ill prob be mid 7xxrwhp on this new build and high 8xx, low 9xx on 101 octane.

I hate some people. there is this kid near my ex's house that has an evo 9, he thinks it is the ****. im not sure what he has done to it, i dont think much, intake, exhaust and tune probably. but he talks so much **** about ME to other people about my car too, he tells people that I think my car is the best thing in the world...blah...blah...blah. anyways, I just heard from someone else that he is saying that he will not race me, its a "I dont want to waste the gas because I know I will win" deal.
He talks all this trash when Im not around but if I am there he will be all buddy buddy and say nothing bad. He's a ***** in other words. I need to call him out somehow, I may not beat him, if i do it isnt going to be by much, i may even just hang with him I think.
Now don't get me wrong, I respect import tuners like the evos and stis, but I HATE jerk off bitchass cowards like him. My mods are headers, full exhaust, lid, free mods, I ran a 13.4 at 108, with a 2.2 60 foot, walking it out of the gate really slow. I think I should be pretty close to a 13.0 if I launch. Any one have any suggestions on beating him because I know they are nasty off the line, and im not haha.

Offer him a bowl of rice and a fortune cookie if he takes the win. Ricers will be ricers. Got a S2000 owner that was talking **** and when it came crunch time he put on his skirt. I hear that he is now dumping a ton of money into it so he will be able to keep up. LOL.

You can't expect a thread about any import or anything to do with an import to stay on topic for long on any forum you go to. The forums are going to have a bias toward the vehicles they are designed for. You talk about imports on a domestic site there will be some flaming as well as useful info. You have to read through it to find what you want. Its there, just in between the bashing. Its all in good fun most of the time. If you got offended go get a tissue and dry your eyes and come back when you can accept what I have stated. Its the reality of any car forum, they will have a bias toward they clientel they are designed for.
