witness to a murder!
I can believe the story since I have a TBSS as well.
I ran a 06/07 Mustang GT (manual with at least a catback) in my TBSS and pulled him by about 2 cars up to around 100mph. I think if we would have kept going, he probably would have caught me. My TBSS is only intake, exhaust and tune (the tune makes a big difference - there is alot of TM on the stock tune).
As for a stock TBSS running with a stock LS1 from a roll, I don't see it happening. For what it is, my TBSS is a quick truck, but no way it could have kept up with my Camaro stock vs. stock. With just a lid, my Camaro was trapping 108mph. There is no stock TBSS anywhere that can trap 108 stock.

This seems pretty straightforward to me. Either the Mach 1 couldn't drive or the TBSS had something he wasn't telling you about (maybe a little juice?). Sounds like it was fun to watch either way, though.
I will tell you though, it is fun driving a 13 second SUV! It will surprise alot of people.
even better would be a 11 second N/A TBSS and a 10 second on the jug TBSS!

in here.
