I was going to the store and witnessed a torch red mach1` trying to jump on a black TBSS well the guy in the TBSS finally gives in and the both punch it(well he let the mach1 hit first) and then reeled him in and ran past him to about a 100! then the second race they went from a slow roll and on 3 honks they both hit it! WOW the TBSS had about 3-4 before shuttin' it down! the Mach1 was a stick with some sort of exhaust and I pulled up next to the TBSS and asked what was done and he said it was bone stock and it still had the dealer tags on it! damn those bricks are fast!

I would believe it, but I DO think that I stock mach 1 should be a little faster than a stock Trailblazer SS. I can see the TB owning the dig tho! I think the TBs are pretty ugly, but I wouldn't mind having a Head/Cam/Spray SUV to play around in!!

 

I'm sure there was some "driver error" but he hooked well from what I saw and didn't miss any gears but the damn "brick" was suprisingly quick especially on those 20's!

Eh. Im not saying it didn't happen... but I will say it shouldnt have happened lol. The Mach 1s are not that much slower than our stock LS1 F-bodies... the LS2 GTOs are on par (give or take) with us because they're like 3800lbs... and that LS2 Trailblazer weighs over 4500+ lbs with that same LS2 engine... thats a **** load of weight lol.

I say it was the driver in the Mach 1 messing up his shifts. Haha, thats kind of embarassing regardless. But Im not gonna try to take too much away from the TBSS's.. they are quick SOBs.

Thats total BS. TBSS's run a decent 13 second 1/4 bit only at like 99 mph. No way in hell a totally stock one beat a Mach 1 from a roll.

And GTOs weigh 3700 not 3800.

I have to correct though because if not GTOS will weigh 5500 pounds in a few months. They are only a couple hundred pounds heavier than a f body and 100 pounds of that can be taken off in 10 minutes if wanted.

But this is about a TBSS and a Mach.

 

I personally think that the tbss are gorgeous. I would def like to drive one but i still think that the mach 1 driver didnt have the driver mod lol

Was the Mach a V6 with duals? No way in hell is a ~95-99mph trapping TBSS gonna touch a ~102-105mph Mach from a roll.
