Default Best Civic kill ever.

So I was working a few days ago. Driving around my little company Chevy van. Hit a light and was dazed and literally staring at the pavement.

It had been a LONG day. And it was far from over. Mid afternoon slump.

A newish Civic rolls up onto the spot next to me. The fact that it sounds like he has to **** vaguely crosses my mind somewhere deep in back.

The light turns green and I step on it. It's a van. So, to go, you mash the throttle to the floor.

I hear some racket and look over. The Civic is along side me and his passenger is laughing.

Not but a second after that does my super-omni-mega-fast-race-van start to walk. Not fierce. Nothing to brag about really. But a steady gait, regardless.

Way to break a mid day slump, huh?

Back in high school i would take out my moms astro every once in a while to go to work. Long story short, i raced a coworker who had an si civic, not sure what year, and beat him from a dig. I always new the astro could move.

Thank you!

I think my twin ladders gave me the aerodynamic advantage.

It surely gave you the extra downforce needed.

lol that's good stuff.

What kind of van was it? year?

I raced a civic once and lost, (barely), in my 91 probe 4cyl with 181,000 miles on it.

only reason I lost is the probe won't rev over about 3500 RPMs. so i was short shifting every gear at around 3-3500 and still stayed door to door lol.

He looked so proud that he hung and I was thinking, "Is he serious? He's actually proud of that"

My probe looks like an angry mob beat the **** out of it with bats, then acid washed the paint.

Clutch is still good though. lol.

Maybe they found it funny that you were trying to race them in the van and just wanted a laugh before backing off the throttle? Maybe????

I've shut down a CRX with a b16 swap with my E350 weighing in just shy of 8500lbs loaded. Kid though he was bad as **** till I walked him in the work van. He doesn't even look at me when I drive past in the SS now. Great kill man. Work Vans for the win!

B16a1? I used to work on hondas a lot and you can easily get into the 14s with a fresh b16 in a little CRX.

yes a b16a1 into that tiny *** thing. Totally not impressed with it once we finished up. However the b18 thats now a 2.1L sitting in the garage will be quite a beast once thats finished up. Either going to stuff it into a 200sx or a 2000-ish Civic

i raced some kid in a sebring with big rims with my moms old 98 chevy venture, haha that was funny, cause he was right at the side slider the whole time. those vans move out pretty good with the 3.4L pushrod motor, i forget how much they weigh though. it did sick *** burnouts though.

Hahaha.. Hah.. Reminds me of the time a friend of mine bought like a 91 Integra 5spd, and talked it up so hard, made everyone think it was a race car.. He took me for a drive, tried to race my friends moms Explorer from about a 10mph roll, and was like a carlength behind 2 minutes later when we hit 95. Sad sad. He claimed that his "air filter needed to be replaced"
