Well..even before we got my truck done we dubbed it COBRA KILLER..and it lived up to its name saturday night out at the cruise..hadnt drove it in a while..so i decided to drive it to the pool hall..and after a few games of pool we took her out to the cruise..there were alot of cars out cruising but not much racing..just before the turn around i got to a light..an o3 cobra pulled up next to me and an ss was behind me..the lane on my left was empty and when the cobra revved his engine the ss pulled into the empty lane..they nodded their head and we inched up the line..i got it into first and got it stalled up..on green we hit it and needless to say all 3 got no traction being it was 50 degrees outside and the ground seemed slick..after about half a block we hooked up and we were flying half way thru second i was still right next to them and they looked very suprised..i hit the pedal and shifted into third and began to pull away lol. we got to the parking lot and the looks on their faces had totally changed..they had no idea the truck was so stout. i guess the sleeper look paid off. lol..fun night.

That is ******* awesome. I would have loved to see the look on the faces of the cobra and ss owner. One word can only be said. Priceless. Haha. I would really like to put together a sleeper project in a few years when I have some more money and time to invest in to it. Props to you for having a wicked fast truck that looks stock.

haha...yea..it was pretty funny. they gave mad props afterwards. and the only thing tht kinda gives it away is the exhaust..but who isnt running an exhaust these days? lol. yea.i passed everything but the gas station. haha. thanx for the props tho guys!

haha..actually..this one is another one of two sleeper trucks we made. they are both identical twins..besides the drivetrain. one has a slightly larger motor with more done to it. I'll try to get some pics of the other one..the newly dubbed "mongoose" is sittin in the shop. This one in the pic isnt as fast but its got a killer 454 bigblock and 400 with stall. alot more mods. its also for sale.

I thought my old truck was fast running mid-high 11's in the 1/4, untill I saw a 67 at pinks all out at RRR run a 9.0 all motor. It's crazy to see a truck run like that.

Yea, I have to say that most guys with well built trucks usually don't go around flaunting their muscle. The vast majority of ppl who go around acting like ********* in their trucks usually don't have anything worth even laughing about done to their ride.
