Death to a 03 cobra and killed an evo
Well this last weekend I put an ls6 intake, kooks 1 3/4 headers, and 3' exhaust all the way back on my 99 FRC vette (haven't got it tuned yet). Last night me and a couple friends were hanging out (one of them has an 03 cobra...I hang out with all mustangs...i'm the only GM ) and decided to go to a local hang out where a bunch of srt's and evo's were hanging out. This local guy we know has an evo that talks **** about mine and my friends stangs decided to call me out. I decided to race him to get a teaser of how the car performs after the mods . This evo had full bolts on's and was suppose to be at 23-24 psi on pump gas. We raced from a 30 roll, me being in first gear, and I immediatly jumped him by a car and proceeded to put 3-4 cars on him by 120. We got back and he said something was wrong his his boost cause he was spiking 17 psi and holding 15. I told him to fix it and we will rematch. My friend in the cobra wanted to race for fun, I said, "sure why not". He has full bolt on's and pullies on the stock eaton and some other supporting mods, dyno'd 486 rwhp. We went from a 30 roll and he immediatly jumped me by 1 and 1/2 cars (i spun a little this time) and proceeded to pull on me with a steady pace. By 120 he had 4-5 cars on me possibly 6. It was a fun night regardless.

3' is worse than any fart can I've seen! That's funny...
Good runs and death.
Before I race any import, I always ask them some questions to try to prevent later excuses:
1. Can you shift OK?
2. Is your car running good?
3. Any problems today that you've seen?
4. Are you completely ready to race right now?
Makes it hard to come back and claim mystery issues... Even nicer to get the Q&A on video before the run.

No doubt the car can go fast with the right mods, but he is right about one thing: It is a piece of ****, **** poor quality and reliability for $35,000.

I would add to #3. ; check for boost leaks, loose clamps, stuck/malfunctioning BOVs NOW, BEFORE we race!!!
