Nice kill. I was at O'Reilly's Auto Parts the other day and one of the employees there told me it sounded like a missfire ...had me real paranoid for a second there. Then I told him "It has an aftermarket cam in it, if that's what you're hearing." He said "OH! Ya, that's it, my bad." lol at people who just don't know.

Besides.. I built mine to be a sleeper..it's purpose it to leave those unsuspecting people that think it's slow with a whole different opinion..
Actually... that friend of yours is wrong..not much of a difference though, it did 412/399..he wasn't too far off with his Goat with the Convertor Locked..combine that with the GTO's fat ***.. I'm thinkin that on Motor he would get eaten up. I don't spray, he does, so that is where he would beat me..
Besides.. I think that with my Dyno run I proved that Dyno Numbers don't mean **** sometimes..
Here is the kicker.. it went from 80mph to 135mph in about 3 seconds, it broke loose on each pull. I had 225/50's on it..all I had at the time. There was Rubber all over the back of the Dyno..even the guy there said it won't get a good pull cause it was spinning.
I'll put my Slicks on it and get a better number..and I won't dispute that one cause I'll have traction.
Yea, that GTO was pretty nasty, he locked the Verter in and got some good numbers.
It's still got a fat *** Chassis though..

The GTO was only on the first stage of spray!!!!
I would guess 600 plus rwhp on both stages!!
Its a little out of your league.
It's ain't worth it man.. the way it works down here with a few of these guy's opinions(including 2 of them on here that posted in refrence to me) is that if you built a big *** Engine you have to race only cars in that class..
They don't understand the concept of me building it as a Sleeper Car and having fun with it.. you know goin out and tearing up anyone that wants to race the "Slow LT1 Car.."
That and taking it to the Track and seeing what I can push that Car to with what I built in it..
To me it's just a budget build that I built to have some fun with, learn a few things about the car, and try different things that most people wouldn't do.
What's even funnier is that if I wanted too I could throw on some N20 and be right there with these fast guys, at a fraction of the cost..and I mean a small fraction..
But I just run Pump Gas, All Motor with what I built and have my fun. **** it's even smoked a few Cars on N20..that's a really big kick in the dick for them..
