yeah props to the guy for trying to put him in his place. i know its a free country but when u say you hate american cars, you can take your butt to the other country, in this guys case japan, and see how nice it is to live in a different country. crap only in america were you can get away with statements like that.

I had a little jaunt with one a couple weeks ago, going from one freeway to another. I was right behind him on the exit, and then we had to do this weird surface-street transfer thing to the other onramp, and I ended up ahead of him. We're on the long curved onramp, there's a car in front of me, and he's directly behind me. I knew that he was gonna go for it as soon as he could, so at the first opportunity I went WOT past the other car (3rd gear, ~60mph), and I could tell he went WOT as well. He stayed at the same spot in my rearview mirror up to ~100mph when I let off. I didn't pull, he couldn't gain. I know it's not a "real" race, but it was something I suppose.

wow.... thats about all i can say.... ls1 fbody slower than a ls1 goat... 350's losing off the line and pulling us up top.... these people are on something.. get some of them to come over here.. we will have some fun... haha

I lost to a 350Z once. He got a big jump, so I started behind from a 45 roll and in 2nd gear. I was reeling him in when the bastard lost traction at about 70-80mph and crossed into my lane right in front of me. So I backed out and let him go on his way. Obviously it wasn't close to stock, probably supercharged, but I think I still would have had him.

if we somehow could PROVE that we are faster in straight line.. someone would say, well what about straight line.. they win that, therefore their cars are superior.. i wish one of them would come over here.... i have a few shitty ls1s that would like to tear a new one for em..

I thought that I had saw on Street Tuner TV or something where they supercharged a 350z and just barely cracked like 340 to the wheels. It's been awhile back so I can't remember everything about it, but just going off of that there's no way stock for stock will one keep up. Now the 07-up I also have heard they are a little quicker, but still not quick enough.
