I think you're forgetting that almost every Mercedes out there, including the little 2-door AMGs, weigh 4000+ pounds themselves.

Nice death and kill, guys.

Hell those some of them AMG models have 606+hp too. And speaking of the 400+lbs, the E55 pulls on 03-04 Cobras with 453hp.

Yep, but my guess is the AMG cars make more power than advertised.

The E55 was 469hp/510tq if I remember correctly. But I also don't believe there was any difference in the same motor installed in the S55 and SL55, rated at 493hp or so either.

Thats strange you kept up soo well, my buddys 03 350z has just a cone filter and he keeps up with my car pretty well up to 110. And i beat r/ts all the time, i ran a 13.67 at 101mph. The only reason i say that is because i have never seen a stock r/t hit 13s but i have seen stock 350s hit 13s. There is always driver mod to account for. And my buddys stock 03 touring weighed 3320 without him. The car i ran a 13.67 was a 05 legacy GT BTW not my T/A

A stock 350Z hitting 13's is like a stock A4 LS1 hitting 12's. Doesn't happen.

Right... 350Zs hit 13s on a fairly common basis, especially the ones from the past few years. Whether you choose to accept it or not, the record for an '07+ 350Z is somewhere around 13.2 @ 107mph. Might be a tenth off on the e/t, but they're getting to be pretty quick cars.

Yea. And when I see one at the track, with your average driver, pull a 13.2 @ 107, then I'll believe it. Most of the 350Z's run 14's with your average driver. Not a fast car, and they sound like ***.

All you do is spew bullshit you're heard from other sources. You probably can't even change your own air filter, let alone see what cars are capable of first hand, so you just search the internet for the best numbers you can find.

And all you do is spew bullshit from your ***... every car can have "driver error" so all you can truly go off of when comparing two cars is what they CAN do. I could probably beat my mom's Vette in a drag race with her driving, but that doesn't mean I think my car (S2000 OR the Mustang) is faster. I know for a fact that they are high 12s car in the right hands, so those are the figures I use. Just like I know that the new 350Zs are low-mid 13s cars with good drivers. And I'm no mechanic, but I've done my fair share of wrenching.

I have seen pre 07 350zs hit 13.8s at the track, and the 07+ has gone mid 13s not often but i have seen it done. Im a f-body guy all the way but just hating on car because it isnt a f-body is just retarded. You sound like the guys on the legacy forums who dont believe a stock ls1 can run faster than a 13.7

You know FOR A FACT that they are High 12 cars??

I've heard some off the wall bullshit, but you are the master by far.

With your average driver, meaning most people, the 07's run high 13's, the older ones run low 14's. A shitty V6 powerband and IRS are not on your side. Not that you would understand that though.

As if guys on the Legacy forums have any room to talk about LS1's, or any real car for that matter.

Thats not how it came accross. You go from one thing to the next, no way to tell what car you're referring to.

How can you not tell what I'm talking about? I even followed it with "Just like I know that the new 350Zs are low-mid 13s cars." Seem pretty damn obvious what I'm talking about to me. And probably everyone else on here. Just admit that you were too quick to jump down my throat, and you messed up.

I understood waht he was saying about the vette and it being a 12 second car, and im sure there are some cars on there that would beat you, so would you say you werent beat by a real car lol? Hell the lead admin on that site has a 400+awhp legacy and a BMW with 600hp ls2 in it. My legacy ran a 13.6 with less than 100 dollar into it. Some f-bodys cant even do that

There are plenty of fast pieces of **** on the road. I've seen turbo civic hit 11's. Do they get any respect?? Nope, because at the end of the day its still a piece of ****, and there will always be somebody that is just as fast or faster than you with a nice car.

Wow, good for him. Its still pointless to make a Subaru legacy fast. Its like making a Honda Civic fast, its just ridiculous. Leave economy cars economy cars, same with family sedans.

A BMW with a LS2 in it is a different story. I would definitely give him props for that, pretty cool.

A Legacy GT is far from a "piece of ****." They're very nice cars, especially for a family sedan. You act like the F-body is on the level of the Corvette or something. And as far as "wasting money" for speed, do you think people that buy Corvettes are stupid? I mean, they could just get an F-body and go just as fast for a 1/3 of the money, right?

You may not like my legacy, but it ran a 13.67 and was never stuck in Wisconsin winter with over 100inchs of snow. It does its job and does with comfort, i love f-bodys but that doesnt mean i dont like to see wahts out there you talk about cars you have probably never driven
