lid, headers, pulleys, exhaust, tune, drilled slotted rotors, lowered 1 inch, i went a 12.78 before the tune and picked up 16rwhp from the tune. So i was hoping for 12.6s @ 111 or so, that was also on stock size street tires, but i sold the t/A a while ago and now im looking for another m6 f-body

Hrmm... well that's a pretty quick car, and should be a really good race for a stock '03-'04 Cobra. But a bolt-on car *should* really have no problems with you. But that just goes to show, the street is unpredictable.

No i said i havent lost to a pre03/04 bolt on cobra that means the non supercharged ones with bolt ons, and yes i am close to stock 03/04 cobras if they have a decent driver.

My bad, I misread your previous post... missed the "pre 03" part. In that case, it sounds right

no the 03-04 come with 17x9 wheels, wrapped in the same 275/40/17 Eagle F1s our F-bods have. 99/01 was in fact 17x8 245 tires. no use of learning something new if its not right haha

I don't even know if it is possible for a pre 03 Cobra "bolt on only" car to keep up with you. 111mph is pretty stout and the only way I see one pulling it off is a 4.56 geared DOHC Cobra with some meat in the rear going from a dead stop. However eventually you should pull him back.

He gets up to me and I see its a cobra, roll down the window and tell him its a clean ride (very nice, lowered). He says thanks, its an '03. Well, I'm thinking to myself that he's missing some things I know of from my buddies terminator -

The 10" wide tires
The hood (he has the earlier cobra V6 carry over one)
The whine

This is a good setup, a real termi would most likely hand me my ***. We get on the highway and I pace him for a minute, then traffic clears and I get on the left of him, he waves 3 fingers for 3 honks and I nod, drop to 3rd at 60mph. He honks it off and I pull immediately, run 3rd up to 5800 and granny shift to 4th with my bad syncros to a total of about 4 cars by 110-120ish (thats a guess, I could see both his headlights so he was a bit back), and then I had to slam on my brakes to not miss my exit.

We gave thumbs up and split. Good race all in all, but he still had the dealer plate things on it so I'll assume he just bought it and was fed a line about it being supercharged. I'm guessing on the 01 part because it had the cobra back bumper as well, I read on here that the 99 still said mustang or whatever. He had a guy in the car with him, I think they thought they were in for an easy kill.
Good kill OP

Next time, drop down into 2nd @ 60mph.

I probably could use 2nd at 60, but my car feels like its on its last legs to me so I'm being nice to it. After I deploy in 3 weeks and come back, a beast will be unleashed
